Powerful Trello client for the desktop.

Overview

Paws for Trello is a beautiful Trello client. It brings Trello to your desktop with native notifications, powerful shortcuts, and more - away from the distractions of your browser.

Paws for Trello Features
  • Distraction-free Trello Experience - Paws makes Trello feel right at home on your desktop. Stay productive with a beautiful minimal interface that doesn’t get in the way of your work.
  • Everything is Just a Shortcut Away - Set a global shortcut that opens the main window from anywhere. We also created handy shortcuts for all your Starred Boards for fast and intuitive navigation.
  • Native Notifications - Paws will alert you whenever there’s new activity in any of your Trello boards. You can customise the notifications and choose where you see them.
  • All Your Favourite Trello Options - Trello is already full of useful shortcuts and options. We’ve made sure they work as they were intended, including keyboard shortcuts, drag-and-drop, and more.

First I wasn't pleased to pay for what is easily accessible in my browser. Now I can say that's just much better, browser is a mess!

I just purchased Paws for Trello and am very impressed. Even though the basic Trello interface is the same (it's still the web interface), I like having a separate app dedicated to Trello rather than trying to find Trello in a sea of browser tabs. Since it's a stand-alone app, the developer was able to add keyboard shortcuts…which I find very useful. For example, I can press ⌘⇧B to see all of my boards and ⌘+<number key> to quickly move between my favourite boards. Additionally, the app can be invoked through a global shortcut key and/or a menu bar item. Native Mac Notifications are also supported and there are plugins for both Safari and Chrome that will automatically direct any Trello references (e.g. if you click on a link to a Trello board) to Paws for Trello. Overall a great app that’s well worth the cost of entry.

What's with all the ratings for this app with no comments/reviews? It seems like this is just a web browser specifically for Trello. You can have the same experience just opening in in a regular browser.
