Based on version 1.0.0, 'Apple Event' works! That version was a bit buggy and I had to cattle prod it a bit to get it to work. Specifically I had to to knock it out my Dashboard then activate it again during today's Apple event. Then it worked! It's great to see an immediate bug fix. Thank you! Now we'll have to wait until presumably WWDC in June to see how it's doing in v1.0.1.

As I'm an Apple fan for more that 8 years, this app is a must-have on my Mac. I prefer to be the first who knows all Apple news. Apple Event just gives me this chance. As the app is free, I think it will be among the basic apps on my computer. I wish there will be a mobile version as well.

A Quick Fix: Clear the cache of Safari or Dashboard
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.dashboard.client/Cache.db

Drag Cache.db on the desktop or trash it, then restart or Log out

Good Luck ;-)
