PDF Signer

1.9.116 November 2018

Sign and countersign documents without printing.

Overview

PDF Signer allows you to quickly fill and sign any PDF agreement or form! No need to print and scan! Perfect for:

  • Signing and counter-signing agreements and contracts over email
  • Filling out and saving any PDF Form (W-9, 1040, etc.)

Running a business requires filling forms and signing agreements over email - that can be a major hassle! Usually it means printing, filling out the details manually, and then scanning your document to PDF... only to find out it's too large to send as an attachment. What if you could do it all on your Mac? No prints, no scans?

Features
  • Add text anywhere in any font and size. The text is added as native PDF text
  • Add your scanned signature, or any other image, with full control of size and orientation
  • Rotate entire document with 1-click - perfect for handling documents that were scanned in reverse order
  • No annotations or other objects that stick out in PDF Readers
  • Doesn't blow up file size, to avoid hassles send over email
  • Save as new PDF, or print - up to you

What's new in PDF Signer

Version 1.9.1:
  • Fixed an issue with text stamps sometimes becoming invisible on MacOS 10.14 Mojave.
  • Default text color set to back in dark mode on MacOS 10.14 Mojave.
  • Other minor bug fixes.

OR -- you could just use Preview, which is installed on every Mac within the past 5 or so years and do it for FREE.

This nice app is a single purpose app: just getting a PDF signed in a very fast manor. No other bells and whizzes. It does this almost perfect. If you need a PDF Editor, there are other apps to choose from.

I acquired this thru a bundle; Otherwise I never would have paid for it. This app is okay but the days when it was really useful seem to have passed. Preview, PDF Pen and other PDF document viewers allow import of signatures. Easiest of all is to just make a transparent background GIF using your favorite image editor, save it and keep it handy and drag it wherever you need it. All free.

FormulatePro (free) can do pretty much the same thing for free.

Does exactly what it say it does, the quickest way to seal a deal and get those PDF agreements executed. I really loved the how the resulting PDF is the same size as the original so it's easy to send back as an attachment.

I don't understand how people can give low rating to an app they didn't even try and complain about it. I've never seen any demo app on the mac app store. I bought this app based on the reviews in the app store and I am quite happy with it. It doesn't do much but does what is says and does it well. I miss some features but the developer says updates are planned. I can now easily add my signature to a bunch of pdf docs without all the hassle. It's simple, clean and efficient, well worth the $10.

Where's the demo? Why should I pay $10 to see if I like it? Bad move...

I agree, no demo, no buy. I realize that the app store does not allow demos; however the dev could offer one from his own site.
