For anyone who for some reason failed to read... and wants to take their failure to read out on this great application through negative reviews: http://74.6.238.254/search/srpcache?ei=UTF-8&p=http%3A%2F%2Fhyperdock.bahoom.de%2F&fr=sfp&u=http://cc.bingj.com/cache.aspx?q=http%3a%2f%2fhyperdock.bahoom.de%2f&d=4666464951732534&mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US&w=32a44c2,612baf4d&icp=1&.intl=us&sig=KQp9xEiGz4V8vrVVLfZ.UA-- There's the cached page. It says there it will cost. Argument over.

This tools hasn't worked since Mojave arrived. I emailed the developer and got nothing. Now, I've received a "This version of HyperDock has expired" message from the app itself. Was a good tool but seemingly useless now.

I have been futzing around with this for ages, but then saw the fix that worked for me below! Removing HyperDock from the Security & Privacy Accessibility pane in System Preferences, then switching to the HyperDock preferences pane pops up the usual dialogue saying it wants to control your machine. Click allow, then switch back to the Security & Privacy Accessibility pane and tick the box and, hey presto, it works! Thank goodness!! I have been lost without this since upgrading to Mojave!!

WHEW. I was just going (like this minute) to contact the developers to see if HyperDock was Mojave compatible. My 2014 MBPro mac keeps bugging me to update and I was finally considering. I use Hyperdoc constantly. If it wasn't compatible, I wasn't going to upgrade. And then, magically, an update window appeared out of nowhere... Hopefully, it'll work great.

I had the same issue at first. I even tried a clean install of Hyperdock and it still didn't work. I then went into the Security & Privacy settings of macOS and, under Accessibility on the Privacy tab, unchecked and re-checked Hyperdock and it started working properly.

Good thinking, Kubaton. I had to remove HyperDock from Accessibility completely because unchecking and rechecking didn't work. Then when I opened the HyperDock preference pane, it created a new entry in Accessibility which I had to click on. It seems to be working now. Thanks, Kubaton.

You should update your review score. The update was free and installation on a new OS is a process. To me it's an indispensable app for "space aware" window previews and hotkeys to move and resize windows.

When will the Mojave update (1.8) be available in the MAS?

Sadly this app appears to be dead. It doesn't work on the current beta of Mojave, and it hasn't been updated in over a year and a half. It's a shame as it was rather useful.

Give it another try! This app is definitely not dead and has been updated recently. I've emailed the developer directly with specific issues and he's been very responsive. Version 1.8 works perfectly on Mojave and looks great in dark mode.

The app does not seem to work in Mojave (beta) any longer. The link to the developer's Web site does not work, either. Is this app dead?

I've purchased this app many years ago on the Mac App Store. I've had a nice time with it for a while. Today I noticed that it was no longer available on MAS. It is not that surprising given that there is virtually no maintenance since 2016. However, the app disappeared completely from my purchased app list. This is very unsettling for me. I still have a ton of other apps that no longer available in MAS but they are all still in the purchase list. Can a developer decide to give the finger to all the clients on MAS of his own app down the road?

That's strange - I still see Hyperdock as available in the App Store (today 18-Apr-2018). I bought Hyperdock outside the App Store, in 2011, and v1.7 has been working fine for me even in High Sierra. (I found earlier versions had occasional issues.) On the other hand, DockView was an equivalent app that I DID buy from the App Store and used for a while but that has disappeared from both the App Store and my Purchased list. (My last version of that was from 2014, and I found was no longer in MAS in 2016). Could it be DockView you mean?

I've used this app ever since I discovered it—it's always one of the first few things I install on a fresh OS. It's a shame that the developer has neglected it, though...
