In my opinion, private betas don't really belong on the front page of MacUpdate. It's always a little saddening when I see big red letters that say "iOS 6" and then fine print that says, "Psych!" You could certainly have a separate section for developers, but if you ask me, the main section should be stuff that's available to the public.

My iPhone 6s claims to have iOS v12.1.2 installed, not v12.1.1. Your guess is as good as mine.

Same here, seems like it's ONLY the iPhone though. iPad still reports 12.1.1.
It's probably one of those emergency quick fixes that only affects certain devices (hence why it wasn't a bigger universal update for all devices.)

Many folks reported severe battery drain with 11.4, which the new release 11.4.1 was supposed to address. For some it has; for me the OPPOSITE HAS HAPPENED. I had no battery issues with 11.4, after upgrading to 11.4.1, my battery will drain from 100% to below 30% over the course of 4 hours; doing nothing but sitting on the desk, no phone calls, no browsing. Once time in the car, I had to use Maps to get somewhere. Drive took maybe 30 minutes, did not have it plugged in, started at 95%. By the time I arrived at destination, using GPS/Maps had drained battery to 15% IN THIRTY MINUTES. Scrambling to try to downgrade back to 11.4 or 11.3.x but worried I might brick it. This behavior is happening on a 5s and a a new SE. Now I realize the 5s is old tech, but so what, this shouldn't happen. and the SE has A9 chip, which is same chip as the '6' line. This is obviously software problem. I'm usually not a conspiracy theorist guy, but really makes me wonder if this is planned to get users of old models to upgrade. Apple DID admit last year that they throttled performance on older phones to improve battery life.

Downgraded back to 11.4.0, battery life back to 'normal'. If you weren't having battery trouble with 11.4.0, maybe reconsider upgrading to 11.4.1; don't fix if it ain't broke. Also, I noticed that in the initial upgrade from 11.4.0 to 11.4.1, the 'name' of my phone was reset to generic 'iPhone'.
