LXVII

1.5.505 April 2014

Faithful simulation of the HP-67 calculator.

Overview

LXVII (pronounced "67") is a faithful simulation of the Hewlett-Packard HP-67 calculator for OS X. Among its many features are:

  • The ability to have multiple calculators and programs running at once.
  • A live display of all stack, memory and program registers.
  • A separate paper tape window
  • Customizable display colors
  • and many more

What's new in LXVII

Version 1.5.5:
  • Fix the INT function so it correctly gets the integer value for negative numbers.
  • Fix the ISZ/DSZ functions so they only use the integer part of the number for the test.

Requirements for LXVII

  • Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later

If only there were a way of copying programs from mag strips into the Mac. Keystroke programming was such a downer then. I saw a lot of reviews of the 35S that came out a few years ago and many reviewers were surprised that HP didn't include a mini-USB port to copy back and forth.

you can dig up the x48 program that might still be available on hpcalc.org for Mac OS X. This is a nice program too, by the way. If you want to give x48 a much needed update, I'd be very interested as well.
