Still the best browser after all those years, and it's cross-platform and open-source. Great job, Mozilla.

Why the hell did they remove the custom chat styles...?

Still no window animations? : (

Really great and useful piece of software. But it lacks window animations.

New icon is incredibly ugly, and I highly doubt it follows Mac OS X's icon guidelines. Just because Adobe is dumb and introduced this style of icons doesn't mean it's good.

Why can't you guys at least make it as good as the Windows version? I'm not asking for anything more. Compact view and separate Skype and Facebook contact lists would be a really good start.

2.1.0 seems to crash all the time on 10.6.8.
What the hell happened?

I encountered a small (but annoying) issue on 1.1.8, on both 64-bit and 32-bit modes. When I skip some .mkv videos, it takes some time to hear the sound again. Also, like other users have noted, quitting the app takes quite a few seconds (though this has been going for quite a few revisions I think). I also experienced some more "Force Quits" than the usual ones. Is there an "official" VideoLAN place where I can report those?

1.0.3 seems more stable, but I'm on 10.6.1, and me and a friend of mine have both encountered a weird problem with .mkv files.
There are certain .mkv files where VLC just takes 1 minute or so to open them, or just crashes.
That alone made me switch to Mplayer, since I have A LOT of .mkv files and I love them.

Unfortunately, this didn't happen to solve my problem... :(

I've found a workaround to the issue I had.
I figured there was some kind of "conflict" on the fontconfig files, so I had to complete delete Mplayer which would change the configuration each and every time, and then run the following command on the Terminal:

sudo chmod a+w /usr/X11/var/cache/fontconfig

I used to be able to split FLAC tracks with Fission.
I could split them using a cue file, and now it won't even open FLAC files...

Not so stable on 64-bit mode on 10.6.1.
It works just fine in 32-bit mode, but 64-bit, nah...
Maybe not just yet.

Doesn't work on Snow Leopard.
At all.

I get some (rather numerous) unexpected quits with 5.2.5 on 10.6.1.
Certainly not as stable as 5.2.3, the version I used to have before updating. It 5.2.3 worked just fine for me on 10.6.0.
