I can't really improve on what Jazzica says below, so I'll just add a bit or two to get my rating in.

I used to be a big fan of Applejack, and I suppose I'd still be using it, had it not died a very quiet death. So I was more-or-less forced to this program and now I'm confident that I've found a formidable replacement for AJ. In fact it is in some ways so much better - for one, I can run all the tasks from the desktop, without going into terminal mode.

And you can't beat the price, or the generosity of someone who's willing to GIVE us program of this magnitude. THANK YOU.

Really great program. The only (minor) hitch was signing in (to google) the first time. I use a password manager and not having a copy/paste feature was a hassle.

It works. Simple. Worth the measly price he's asking. It might leave unnatural or distorted looking fixes behind on large corrections, but small corrections disappear nicely.

I would love to have this program, but I can't find it on the Mac App store, the only place it's sold.

Time for a review after my comments below. As frustrating as the wait was, I'm quite happy that Intuit finally decided that they would support Mac after all. The Quicken product is simply the best financial management tool out today, and the newest Lion compatible version is every bit as good as the old, and smoking fast! While waiting for Intuit to correct their obviously errant ways, I tried several competitive products, and all fell woefully short.

A chicken and egg question:

Should I purchase this version of Quicken and then upgrade to Lion, or the other way around. Would be helpful to know if, when upgrading to Lion, the Quicken files from the old 2007 version are still intact, or if I can run the newest version of 2007 on 10.6

I still haven't made the switch to Lion, but I have upgraded to the new Lion compatible Quicken. However, when I try to use the new version, it won't recognize my years and years of stock quotes, and trying Quicken's own fix doesn't cure the problem.

Mr. Bill GT - I have finally got this up and working. My entire problem stemmed from my having moved my Quicken data file years ago into a "finalncial" folder within my data folder. I still havd to rebuild my quotes. Apparently there was a corrupt quote buried somewhere within my file, and I had to delete the entire quotes file and rebuild it, so now I only have five years worth. Small price to pay to have a working Quicken program that now allows me to finally upgrade to 10.7. Thanks for your support.

Exactly what I needed. Does exactly what it says it's going to do, nothing more or less. I can't believe that my mighty Mac wouldn't do this for me! Shame.

Only on QuickTime Pro, I believe, Micheal-Fortin. I used to have Pro, but I guess the license dropped off an update or two ago.

I love this program. Used to have it many, many OS's ago, and am really glad to have found it again.

I had an issue with the program not copying new passwords over to itself after generating one for a web site. I emailed the developer for help, and an answer (though not a fix) came within 12 hours. A followup email was answered the same day. I think that kind of support is outstanding and deserves special recognition.

In spite of the previously mentioned problem, I purchased the program because it proved to be invaluable to me to increase my web security. Like most of us these days, I have web sites where security is essential, but generating my own passwords proved weak, and changing them was a royal pain. This program fixes all of that.

As for that problem I mentioned, basically it is this: when changing a web password, 1PW is designed to generate a strong password and make the change, then copy the new password into itself. There's the problem - when 1PW doesn't recognize the "change password" page within a site as a root of the main site, then it will either not copy the password, or it will try to generate yet another log-in page. This can be troublesome if you haven't made a record of the new password! It turns out, however, that 1PW does keep records of all new passwords, so that, at least is a work around.

What am I missing? I'm serious here... how long does it take to open Address Book? One second? How much time can this app save? Admittedly, I have not used the app, but that's because I see no advantage over just opening Address Book. Fill me in.

I'm evaluating this program now before committing to purchase. One thing that's driving me a little bonkers is when I use 1PW to generate a new password. I'm on the site I wish to be on, at the "change password" site, and instruct 1PW to generate a new password, then autofill the form. So far, so good, but when I submit that form, most of the time 1PW doesn't copy the new password over to itself. Of course that causes all sorts of problems when I try to sign in again. Now that I've discovered this "glich," I manually enter the new password into the program so that there's no trouble signing in next time. On the bottom left window of 1PW, there is a progress bar indicating that the program might be working on updating itself??

I'm fully aware that I might be the problem, but if anyone can clue me into what I might be doing wrong, I'd appreciate it.
