Interface is far to complicated for a one-man freelance company.

The recurring billing seems to be very erratic.

Far to many things to fiddle with.

Amazingly feature rich IDE, does everything you could think of, yet is still fast, and no too expensive.

Great SVN client, MUCH better than Versions. Love the ability to search and cherry pick changes and then merge.

@Myschizobuddy In Versions I could not see how to cherry pick commits from one branch and merge them into another.

eg I frequently need to find all the commits on 'dev' branch, that have a particular ticket number, and then merge them into a staging branch.

Using Cornerstone this was simple, don't think it's possible in Versions.

Versions is probably fine for small teams/single developers, however it did not work with our SVN setup. (Others apps like SmartSVN also let you cherry pick, so it is not that unusual.)

If you install Apple Developer tools there is something similar built in called Network Link Conditioner. This can simulate all sorts of conditions like 3G/Edge/WiFi (Lossy, Average and Good for each type).

It's in /Developer/Applications/Utilities/Network Link Conditioner, and installs as a preference pain.

does this have a feature to limit the rate it sends emails ?

What are the defaults if it can't be changed ?

Is there a way to hide the icon from the menu bar ?

This is a handy program however it has it's flaws. When I reduce a JPEG in dimensions it frequently doubles in files size. I can easily fix this using ImageOptim, however it does seem strange that this happens.

at long last the CPU does not go nuts when watching a video. A big improvement !

Brilliant program!! Extremely fast, esp compared to Quicksilver. It also has lots of great new features.

This is a great IDE.

So much nicer to use than Eclipse based IDEs.

wfm had trouble on 13 Jun 2008
I had to change a line in config.php to read thus:

static $xdebugOutputFormat = '/^trace.[0-9]+.xt/';

After this webgrind could find the trace files.

When I tried to analyze the files it created two httpd process that took 70% of CPU each. The trace file then mushroomed to 1.6GB.

I am using latest MAMP, with all the zend accelerator features turned off.

I installed this driver and then I could not use the Expose Show Desktop feature. I tried everything to make it work. All 5 mouse buttons worked, but I couldn't do the desktop thing.

I then installed version 3.1, rebooted, uninstalled, rebooted, and now I have full controll over the mouse buttons and they can all be used with Expose for all features.

Avoid this like the plague !!
