Keynote 7 does not use the Services menu like Keynote 09 did. Eye candy is not always as beneficial as functionality. At least this is the first iteration but thus far the features are not that impressive, nor are the locations of the Inspector layout. Hopefully it will get better. I am just glad it did not replace Keynote 09.

Like many below I was ready to upgrade. I downloaded the 30 day free trial and found it even less capable than version 1.6.4. My main reason for buying Busycal was the ability to print to PDF and place in a newsletter. Control over printing was even less capable in Busycal 2.

My suggestion is to write the developer and let them know of your disappointment. Be specific as to its deficiencies regarding your workflow. My guess is that money will talk, and they will respond to their users by fixing what is broken.

The new version brings several new features but perhaps the most noticeable thing is the modernization of the interface. Accordance now looks much more polished. As with any application of this level of sophistication there will be a pretty steep learning curve. However, once mastered this application has a tremendous amount of horsepower.

I dinged one-half star for the bugs of the 10.0 release. These will certainly be addressed within days (if not hours). The support by OakTree is second to none. The only other real criticism is that resources in Accordance tend to be more pricey than some other platforms. Overall I am very pleased with Accordance 10.

First bug is the triple click. Unless you set the number of visible verses to zero (context) the appropriate dictionary will not open. Second bug, when hovering over words, holding down the command key does not show the top dictionary. I would expect these bugs to be fixed by tomorrow. That is their usual response time.

Is Apple trying to kill Safari? This version feels like a major step backward. First thing I noticed was the lack or rss support. The message said to search for an app that does rss. Then I went to a page with small print. So I searched the prefs to adjust the fonts. Its not there.

Shame on you Apple. I am one of your strongest advocates but I am switching to Firefox until you address these deficiencies.

I bought Quicken Essential but dearly missed Quicken 2007, so when it came out today I gladly bought the update, converted all my data back to 2007 and opened it. Now, all of a sudden I realize I actually like Quicken Essentials better. I am sure others will disagree. I do not regret buying the 2007 update since it will allow me to open old files that I had archived but I think I am going to stay with Quicken Essentials.

My hope is that a new version of Quicken Essentials will be released that has the best features of 2007 built into it.

Accordance is the premier Bible software for the Mac (and iOS as well). The software keeps just getting better. Fast, efficient, and extremely versatile. To access the power of the application does require a learning curve, but this is professional grade software. The "Lighting The Lamp" podcasts are very helpful in learning the application's capabilities. I cannot imagine doing Bible study without it.

I have been a OLB user for many years and appreciate it quick and fast capabilities. Recently also purchased Accordance. There is a place for both programs. For quick searches and a wealth of somewhat older material you cannot beat OLB. The "Copy Verses" feature far exceeds everyone else's implementation. For original language searches, more current resources Accordance beats any Bible study software on any platform. I am thankful for both.
