Purchased this one and it does pretty easy to use and install as described. However, I found the following issue:
I am connecting a Thunderbolt Drive to my Macbook Air and I am using it as a dedicated music server.
And I am using another Macbook Pro to control the server remotely.
The problem with Remotix is:
I used to using Mac's default Screen Sharing function to connect the two computers. The screen resolution and response are quite good. The scrolling functions of up and down the screen response on the remote computer is nearly quick as the master one.
However, while the macs are connected via Remotix, the scrolling of up and down on the remote computer response very slowly -- each swipe moves two to three lines only, no matter what screen resolution I set.
I have thousands of CDs on the music server. You can imagine how intolerable it is while scrolling the iTunes screen under Remotix.
I have sent the developer my query for many days. And so far no reply at all, no even a note saying that my question was received. A bit disappointed as many users here said that answers were quick.
I am going back my original Mac's Screen Sharing setup.
Really regret the money I wasted.

Not even a response from the developer after posting above for 4 days.
Obviously, Simple but Slow.

The new preferences interface is very good.
I particularly like the option for showing sidebar icons in color.

Hi, Purchased the app from App Store. It is still version 3.0.0. How come it is not updated? And where can I get the new one?

Just found the blog post and I am doing the conversion.

Memory is king. By forcing some apps into 32-bit mode does save me more RAM for running memory-hungry applications.
It's true that one can do the same by opening the info box of any app to find out whether it can be run in 32-bit mode. And then select the box to force the app to run in 32-bit. That's no doubt about it.
But this little app collects all the information and gives you a nice and user-friendly interface.
The new version even remembers which apps have been selected to run in 32-bit mode.
Just for that reason, I am willing to pay for it.
Moreover, I am impressed by the quick response from the developer regarding suggestions and questions.
Edgarcabrera. I did my payment via Paypal. I didn't find any problem with it.

Still testing though I paid already.
It would be better to show the current bit status next to each application.

So glad to hear that and hope it's coming soon.

Downloaded the new version 1.02. More apps added to the list for switching to 32-bit mode.
So far haven't encountered any problem.
But still, hope to see the "showing the current bit status" adding to the app soon. Because you can't tell which has been changed and which hasn't after a few times switching.
The addon feature will be a definite help.

Tried and purchased many weather apps. None of them are perfect but this is the one I keep eventually. Thanks.

I am in HK. The time shown on Menubar Icon is 8 hours behind the clock.
Reported to the developer that the time shown on Desktop Icon and Menubar Icon is different for over a week. No reply from the developer at all.
Should somebody live in a different time zone than the developer's, do have a second thought before purchase.
Featurewise, it's not bad. But without the accuracy, it's useless. Hope to see some fixes soon.

A pretty good idea.
Just downloaded and tested. However, it's not working on my MBA 2011 with Lion 10.7.1
Also hate that red x icon on the dock. If the future release could be run in the background without the dock icon, it would be great.

Successfully installed it on my late-2010 MBA 13.3-inch. No problem so far.
It would be great if an uninstaller could be added just in case.
