You know how you can tell the people working on this don't actually use their own software? You cannot change the font size in the recipe pane. Seriously. It looks like the default size of some of the themes is 9pt. Good luck reading that!

Sorry. There is a tiny slider at lower right that allows for some range of font size adjustment.
Not mentioned in the manual, of course.

New version requires menu bar running in order to use browser extensions (background daemon not an option). Tab-delimited export option removed.
These guys seem quite nice and relatively attentive to support issues, but I've lost a lot of confidence in their ability to improve on this software. After years of enjoyment of this app, it's time for me to look elsewhere.

Unfortunately 1.6.7 is not code signed, so anyone with Gatekeeper settings to 'identified developers only' can't open this app. But hey, at least it's not Mac App Store only!

I want to like this app, but on a Mac Pro tower you cannot change the audio output setting. It defaults to 'Digital Output' and attempts to change it do nothing.

3.5.2 update breaks a PLIST setting to keep Command-Tab control locked to the local workstation. It was a hidden preference, only available through the terminal.
At least Apple is improving the improvements.

Wow. This app is off to a great start!
One problem I'm running in to is that I have several Macs set up behind a firewall with their default VNC ports remapped for outside access. When you specifically configure a new server to be a 'generic' VNC client the app will automatically notice port 3283 running for the server and force authentication back to 'Mac OS X' mode. (Apple's built-in VNC client does the same)
Once that's fixed, I'm loving this!

Don't forget to use your audiophile ethernet cables if your files are stored on a SAN.

Here's another (free) option. You could produce a video that people actually wanted to watch. You could promote that video on your blog in a way that compelled people to watch and share it.

Or, you could try cheating. That sometimes works too!

Or go to in Safari for free. Sheesh. I knew the Mac App Store would turn in to a free for all of nearly useless apps begging for your .99 contribution. That's why I love my iPhone's inability to install non-Apple approved software.

Yay! I don't know how I survived without improved analytics!

Also, the 'ask before storing local information' preference brings up a dialog in videos that cannot be clicked on making that preference completely useless.

Is it just me, or did moving from to break the right mouse button click functionality for everyone? I used to get a contextual menu but now it acts like a left click.

Weird. It just started working again randomly.
