Rather go for Twain Sane. Looks good, simple to use. Here's a pic of the interface:

Unfortunately doesn't work with my ageing Canon LIDE N670U. I wish it would because it looks easy to use like Agfa fotoLook from the old days.
However Twain Sane does work. Here a pic of that interface within Image Capture:

As with all the current scanner software (that works), even simple is way complicated. VueScan is great if you need ALL the bells and whistles, but my favourite it-just-works scanning software is free. See here for a discussion Twain (http://bit.ly/hR18q4) and here for a screenshot (http://tinypic.com/r/2z5lt9c/7).

This is fantastic. I've been looking for a way to simulate what Artrage does, but in Photoshop, viz, show a reference photo on top of everything and that always stays where it is while drawing. Almost there, except on bitty li'l problem - a floated window does not stay above the PS palettes.

It's not in the documentation, but single key presses seem to do something. R(random?), U, D(delete), L, Z(zoom), C(centre window), esc(hides), [, ], -=numeric keys for zooms (without cmd). Any idea what these unknown ones do?

Oh god, I am stupid. The keys.pdf file is right there on the disk image. At ease, all.

I've moved on from Rapidweaver. I'm now using the free http://www.skybluecanvas.com

I know a bit of html + CSS, and always found Rapidweaver starts off great, but then to theme a site, you've got to jump though hoops to develop the theme. That means get into a package file, edit plists (I seem to remember), and jump between the CSS editor, the html editor, rapidweaver and browser.

3 star rating because its a good product if you're not demanding, but a poor one if you are.

Finally after many years of searching, I've found the personal finance software that works. And a great, responsive developer to go with the software. Moneywell has both power and intuitiveness. I'v been through MSMoney, iBank, Checkbook (by Splasm, which is good), Liquid Ledger, ChaChing, etc etc.

It may not have everything for everyone, but for me it's got features that I've not enjoyed before in any other app. Like drag 'n dropping transactions into categories, memorising by the Memo field, instant month-by-month spend graphs... the list goes on.

Having installed and played with the system for a day or so, I can call Pagico incredible.

It's like the many notepad/scrapbook applications out there - notably software like VooDooPad and wiki software, but the addition of powerful calendar, address book drag 'n drop linking.

It seems to me that have taken the Mac's combo of Apache+Php+Cocoa and presented the system in a beautiful package. All this means I can install this on my server at home, and link to my database of personal information, to dos, notes and contacts from anywhere even on my web enabled pda.
The two main selling points for me are the access anywhere and multiple security levels.

CAVEAT!! The installation overwrites your php.ini file, and does not warn. This broke my localhost installation. Back up your php.ini file if you have made changes to it and do a comparison + update to get back to your original

Love the app otherwise.
