Fantastic. The best whiteboard app for OS X so far. Excellent support for pressure-sensitive tablets and secondary monitors/projectors.

Uniboard is ad-ware; there's a self-promoting banner at the bottom of the screen. Removing it requires a $30/$50 license (educ/biz respectively). The banner is transparent and pretty innocuous though.

Missing features:
- "Single key accelerators" to switch tools. e.g. press "H" to switch to the Hand tool, press "V" to switch to the cursor, etc.
- Separate zoom level for the secondary display. Often, I will need to zoom in to draw something in greater detail (on my primary display); while I do this, I want my audience to continue to see the whole whiteboard (on the secondary display), not just the zoomed portion.

Great work. Much better than using SketchBookPro, Painter, Illustrator, or Photoshop for whiteboarding. This is the real deal.

Jing would be great if it didn't sit in the background and eat CPU cycles. Take a look at Activity Monitor and look at the total CPU Time used up by Jing.

I was trying to figure out why my MBP battery usage was higher than usual. Sure enough, Jing increases average battery usage by 1.0W... when completely idle. That's not okay.

Fantastic little app. “Do one thing and do it well.” It does absolutely everything a complete WakeOnLAN app should do - and not one thing more. Perfect.

It would be great if you could add support for the Bonjour Sleep Proxy Service. It's the technology that Snow Leopard's “Wake on Wireless” uses. It's an open protocol and shouldn't be too hard to implement:

Service description:

Source code:

Exact protocol (really simple stuff):

In practice, supporting this would also allow for waking over VPN and waking over Internet (if the router forwards broadcast packets from WAN to LAN).

Stainless is going great; it has potential. I appreciate the rapid updates!

It's obviously missing a lot, but I won't burden you with the obvious requests.

There is one UI issue that is an ABSOLUTE DEAL-BREAKER though: the WINDOW FLICKER (temporarily switches from being the frontmost window when changing tabs).
I'm sure that this bug is related to the separation of tabs into processes, but it needs to be solved before Stainless can ever be a serious browser -- or a serious demo. Right now, all this shows me is that this implementation won't be the answer.

Brutal honesty.
