Two words: GREAT PRODUCT !!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been using products from Novamedia from way back and they have never failed me or left me wishing for more. I called their tech department this morning about a plugin for the N85, and less than an hour later I had one in my mailbox waiting for me to test. These guys are the real deal. I can not say enough how great these guys are. If you need connectivity between your phone and Mac, look no further. The pricing is okay, the apps are spitzenklasse :), and the service is outstanding.

Did I mention how good these guys are?

What "legal" reason would anyone need with this application?

I am on the fence about upgrading to the new 3.x.x version. I am currently using 2.5.3 and it seems to work okay. However, what I did prior was use DRM Dumpster (over priced as hell) to remove all DRM from my library. After this, iVolume should be able to equalize my entire library. Why Apple continues with its crappy algorithm is beyond me. They should simply buy iVolume and include it for free. I am equalizing a library right now to see how things turn out.

While this might be a great product, you can do the same exact thing with iTunes and really do even cooler things with Garageband, and both of them are free.

They have this thing called "The Internets, as spoken by George Bush"

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1358

I have not paid one cent for a custom ringing tone I created in Garage Band or with iTunes.

You should think before you post.

$35?

Two words: Gizmo Project. Another word: Skype.

Not to mention the lack of originality. Copying the iPhone interface.

Cheesy.

This will not work on the newer iPhones, i.e. v.1.1.2.

I have been a user of Novamedia products for many, many years. Their products do only one thing. THEY SIMPLY WORK! Period, point, blank. If anyone is having a problem it is more likely something external to Novamedia. Their customer support is excellent and timely. I give their products five stars as a sixth is not possible.

Dude, now is sounds like you are whining. Reduce the price and you would have something worth talking about: MAYBE. But for $30, there is no way I would consider it. Maybe your 3 stars is an indication of this as well.

To the author of this application and the admins here, let me make one final attempt to clear this up and state my opinion.

I have tried it but for 30 dollars, I do not find the value. Some may disagree and this is their right, but it is also my right to not want to spend 30 dollars on an app which I feel is not worth it. How much money I make or what I choose to do with it is my business and comments alluding to this makes those posters seem whiny and cry-baby-ish. If someone wants the application, then they can buy, if not then don't. I am sure if the developer had thought about a different price target, he or she would not be here discussing this now. Sooooo with that said, I will stick with Audio Hijack Pro which does many more things and does not have a bunch of developers that have to try and convince me how good their product is. The app speaks for itself.

Doesn't this application become irrelevant tomorrow with the release of Leopard? I was going to spring for it but I will wait until Leopard and see what happens with this. I will uninstall my current version of LS, and see how Leo handles Internet traffic.

This can be done by doing the following:

**** From the Mail Help *****
To back up mailboxes and addresses, make copies of:
The Mail folder, located in the Library folder of your home folder.
The file com.apple.mail.plist, located in the Preferences folder of your Library folder. This file stores the preferences you set in Mail Preferences.
The folder AddressBook, located in the Application Support folder of your Library folder. The folder AddressBook contains the information in your address book, which is used by both Address Book and Mail.

Use Automator, archive the file, and you are done. You can use Automator to also restore.
