gawd I'm glad I never upgraded to 10.7 . After reading all the reviews on Lion, I think I'll just stick with my 10.6.8

CORRECTION - I think** the creator of Desktop Manager needs to seriously consider dusting off Desktop Manager and make it compatiable for OS 10.7 Lion (Lion needs help). I've always considered Desktop Manager as being superior to Apple's Spaces anyway. In its day it was an excellant program, now is the time to bring it out of retirement and update it for 10.7 Lion.

After reading all the discusions, I've concluded two things. OS 10.7 is an undesirable upgrade for my Mac. Having said that, "if" I should ever find myself needing to load a version of 10.7 on my Mac, I would first partion my hard drive in half, placing 10.6 Snow Leopard one one half, and OS 10.7.x Lion on the other half. The problem with that though is taking the time to do all that. But at lease I'd have the ability to run all my favorite problems in 10.6.x that 10.7.x won't

I've been using Mac OS systems ever since OS7.XX and I'm sorry, but there is no way I'm upgrading to OS 10.7 Lion. Why would I want to turn my iMac into a glorified iPad? I'm sticking with Snow Leopard. Mac OS Lion is not progress, its regress (going backwards).

In knowing from past history how each new Mac O/S breaks Windowshade, this time around I'm "not" updating to O/S X Lion until there is a new updated Windowshade for it. For me, its just not worth upgrading to a higher O/S if I don't have Windowshade (Its a feature Apple should never have dropped since O/S-9). - Russell
