What a nightmare! Installed this app thinking it would solve the loss of my function keys on my MBP. However it is UNINSTALLABLE. No matter how much I've tried this app rewrites the core ability of the Function keys and they never work the same again.

I've emailed the developer at his 2 different email addresses more than a dozen times and have received absolutely no response.

Without Butler I would find my mac to be crippled and painfully difficult to use.

Thank you.

Been using this app for years and am glad to see it's still supported and advancing. It's small footprint and nimble action are both key assets to me. Tabbed UI is fantastic for working as well.

As a follow-up. I did every single thing the trouble shooting guide said to do. And, as the only running app, after about 24hrs, I still get CPU spikes of 100% for 10 or more minutes. I still get a RAM hungry app. And I still see a lag, sometimes several minutes, for Postbox to load a mailbox to view the emails.

I have 7 email accounts that I use and less than 2k emails TOTAL over the last year saved here. So I do not think I'm asking a lot of this program. Each time I fire it up I'll get the same error message: "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded." upon the first view of each mail box/group. This is in addition to the host of CPU/memory issues.

Please, if you have no intention of addressing these issues just tell us all now so that we can use some other email app. You've got big dreams but apparently very little ability to implement them. It's best for us all to move on if you're not going to be maintaining or improving your app.

I gave up. I uninstalled the app. I'm more than capable to finding my order ID #. I saw no need to post it since this is now moot. Your app spikes with 100 - 125% CPU usage constantly and stays there for 2-10 minutes. I just find no need to stop working and burn up my processor for an email app. If you fix this, the spell check issues and the other glitches others have posted I may reinstall and give it a go. But until then just count me as someone who cannot be bothered with trouble shooting your app for you. That's why you pay people on your end to do so.

Is it possible to have this available elsewhere? There are a few of us who think the appstore is just crap and avoid it like a well worn plague.

I'd love to but I removed MAS entirely. I find their policies a bit too invasive. I'd rather install and remove apps as I see fit. Apple doesn't have to hold my hand. When MS used to do this type of thing decades ago everyone cried foul. But when it's apple everyone applauds it.

Since upgrading to 3.04 it's been a complete nightmare.

Memory spikes to 100% every time I try to open an email or send a reply. Incredibly slow and painful to use because of this. Adding to this is the bizarre error of: "This URL is not valid and cannot be loaded." When I try to click on a different mailbox.

Kind of sorry I spent the money on this. Had hoped this we the holy grail to solve multiple boxes.

Except that 2.5.3 works perfectly well and without the memory spew. (I'd say leak but 100% is spew.) While I do think the refund off is nice, any chance you guys are going to fix this issue?

Still no reply from Postbox on how they're going to fix the memory issues. The reviews are stacking up with other people too. It's not just my system. It is, however, your application. FIX IT.
