I posted the following to the developer who responded within the hour! He is currently looking into this problem. We have been using his logSheet app for many years and have been quite happy. The 4-star rating under stability is for this problem alone.

This started with Mavericks.

I am unable to plot a 30" X 42" drawing in landscape mode to the HP Z6100. I am able to rotate the printable area but the image always remains with the 42" dimension parallel to the 36" paper roll width, obviously cutting off the side of the drawing.

There is a button the the print dialog which rotates the drawing by 90° but it then always sets the printable 30" height in the direction of paper travel, again cutting off the side of the drawing. I am successful when I use standard paper widths, but there is no 30" x 42" standard size. This requires manually trimming each sheet and throwing away lots of paper. Any ideas?

OOPS! Pasted the wrong comment!

Should be simply that logSheet isn't working with QuarkXPress 9.5.4.1 on Mavericks. So sorry for this confusion.

Just a comment IMHO:

Be careful. I think this adds a "Remove from Dock" menu to the trash can icon. It is too easy to accidentally select and deletes your trash icon. To get it back requires the deletion of a preference file and a reboot. If you subsequently decide to delete Path Finder, the menu remains requiring that you mess with the System to get it back without the menu.

One of the best add-ons for more years than most ad-ons have existed. Developer continues to keep pace with Apple's ever-evolving OSes.

Butler is like an old and dear friend with well-earned wrinkles. Nothing else better IMHO. Still, with this kind of good karma, maybe the developer can dream up a few surprises for v5. Thanks for this update. I am happy to see it is not following in the path of Quickeys, another dear friend that has sadly passed away.

We installed Right Zoom on several iMacs running 10.7 with Acrobat Pro (CS4) installed. Acrobat slowed to less than a crawl. Upon deleting Right Zoom, problem vanished.

My wife's iMac had a CCC clone of her drive when it failed. Time to recover: 15 minutes.

I did not have a clone of my iMac drive when it failed. Time to recover 16 hours (or more.)

I could have saved about 16 hours. $39.95 for 16 hours comes to $2.50 per hour. Seems cheap to me. Even McDonalds pays a bit more than that.

Our architecture firm has been using this 1992 when it was known as Time Tracker. The developer sold it, then bought it back. We have tried countless options over these 19 years and always come back. It is simple, straight forward, easy to use, and provides essential time data necessary without getting in our way. This is one of those apps that we never think about because it just works.
