smcFanControl and Temperature Monitor. Both free.

smcFanControl monitors temps and fan speed, and allows you to control fan speed manually or automatically change speed when a power source (on a portable) changes.

So happy this continues to get updates. It's been "Open at Login" on my Macs for *years!*

I set it to show CPU, Net and Disk on my home server, stretched across the bottom, updating every 10 sec, providing an instant visual "log" of what's been going on the last hour or two.

A piece of software that provides a feature that should be standard on every Mac and iOS device. I'm really pleased that it remains in active development.

The only thing I wish it had was a built-in update mechanism.

nice looking. seems to do what it says. does not tell you what version of FFmpeg it uses. also, it's free.

although not free, i still like iFFmpeg better. i don't need eye candy in my video converter app. i like being able to update FFmpeg myself.

Deserves a bump.

As always here's the URL for the auto update free version.

iFFmpeg is far better at conversions. Videobox is far better at grabbing flash from the web. You get what you pay for.

iFFmpeg allows me to send all resulting video to a default directory. Simple enough feature. If it's available on Adapter, it's completely unintuitive.

Also, it downloads ffmpeg for you.
Where does it put it?
What version are you using?

Adapter gives you NO idea.

Lots of free eye candy. User hostile.

It's not built into my browsers, but it functions as if it does. The developers are super responsive to feature suggestions and bug reports.
