Love Dropbox, highly recommended.

But here's a suggestion: instead of releasing bug-fix updates every day - which we have to update manually - why not actually TEST each new version of DropBox before you release it, instead of playing whack-a-mole by fixing a few bugs each day and waiting until the next day to see which new (or still unaddressed) bugs will turn up?

"Worked around an issue with inter-application communication on OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion."

Thank you! Butler 4.1.13 became unusable whenever iTunes was running, as a result of the 10.8.2 update. So far this new version seems to have solved the problem.

Lots of spinning beach balls in Safari since upgrading to this version. Sigh.

This is a great program - does so many things, does them properly, frequently updated, and free! Can't ask for anything more.

Agree with others - fantastic app, does exactly what it says, no problems, just does it. Thanks!

I can't believe this fantastic utility is still free. It's frequently updated and does a terrific job of ripping and converting files in a high-quality manner.

Highly recommend - and a big THANK YOU to the developer!

Wow - CPU usage is about 15-25%, down from 70-110%. It's night and day - flash videos play much more smoothly.

I too just updated to 10.5.3. It did the usual double-restart after installation. It did NOT mess up any file permissions.

No problems or issues so far. All seems well on my system (Aluminum iMac 24"/2.4GHz).

Still a piece of junk after 12.1 update.

Two main problems:

(1) STILL doesn't play well with Spaces; splash screen AND your document open in the current space, and then only after the document is open does Word switch to its proper space. And even then, the formatting palette is blank until you click on it. Also, when Word is already open and you open a new document from a different Space, sometimes Word loses track of the documents and you can't see one of them.

(2) STILL ridiculously slow upon startup. Actual startup of the app is a little slower now, but once it's supposedly already started up, the interface is unresponsive for the first minute or two, with constant spinning beachballs.

Remember the infamous Office 4.2.1 (with Word 6) for the Classic Mac OS? Well, Office 2008 is shaping up to be the WORST MS office produce since that.

Another version of iTunes (11), and of course the return of Butler's spinning beachball when you quit iTunes.

I love Butler - but I don't need to use it to control iTunes. Is there a way to set a Butler Preference so that Butler doesn't depend on reading the iTunes library all the time? I just want to be able to launch my apps using hotkeys.

Thanks!

Just tried to use iVolume after updating to OS X 10.8.2 and iTunes 10.7. iVolume crashes whenever I click the "Start" button.

Anyone else having this lockup problem?

Seems not to work anymore under 10.7 Lion. Any news of a pending update?

Fantastic program in all respects.

One question, though - the "check for updates" and auto-update feature seems to be broken in the last couple of releases. Anyone else seeing this?

Nope, still not fixed. I use Click2Flash, but the Safari extension, not the old plugin.

Installer proceeds normally, but doesn't actually seem to install the app - it's nowhere to be found on my hard drive. Weird.
