I strongly suggest that you do not deal with KOINGO. They have failed to honour licences granted under a package sold by MacUpdate. It is clear that they and MacUpdate have fallen out in some way. However, that is not the fault of purchasers of the bundle that included Data Guardian and Cleanse.

KOINGO has shown no understanding of basic client service standards and skills. You would be well advised to think twice or more before you deal with them as who's to say that the same thing won't happen again?

Any company that deliberately disadvantages potential and past customers who have done nothing wrong, is in my view, not worthy of support.

You make up your own mind - this is not about the standard of the software but about their marketing practices and opinion of clients.

I obtained this software as part of a MacUpdate bundle. KOINGO then refused to honour the activation code claiming that MacUpdate weren't paying them enough. MacUpdate claim KOINGO were breaking their agreement.
What I know for SURE is that it is me, the end user who suffers. I discourage anyone from purchasing KOINGO software until they change their attitude.

KOINGO refused to honour the activation code for this item after I obtained it through MacUpdate in a bundle.

I strongly advise against purchase of any KOINGO applications.

re - previous comment about download not working properly - I should say I'm using a MacBook Pro Quad Core 16gb Ram running OSX 10.8.4 and with plenty of hard disk space etc..

No problems with other downloads of various types or with Internet connection or anything else, including other MacUpdate Promo apps.

I purchased this application as part of a MacUpdate bundle on 23 April 2013 and have just got around to attempting to download it owing to illness.

Version purchased was 1.01. When I try to download it from the site I just get pages full of code.

Can't find a support address or contact email. Can anyone suggest anything?
