It's crazy! Did you see what's new in this version : "animated tooltips" for our convenience (LOL), possibility of "customize columns". MacKeeper is a company which soil the web with it's tons of advertising everywhere (disable Adblock and you will see). No seriously it's crazy and I prefer to give money to developers like Joel Barriere (OnyX) or Northern Softworks (Lion Cache Cleaner) than to society like ZeoBIT which win a lot of money while their software is ridiculous (and difficult to uninstall...). An advice : go your way (or try the demo before!).

An update for two functions renamed LOL. My mac has never worn as well since I uninstalled MacKeeper and I see now that ZeoBIT has still not understood. This application is always a pitiful...

After several tests, this application (in 64bits) works very well, the occupation of Ram + CPU is very low and the simplicity of previous versions is still there. As I said before it does not fully remove (for now) applications from the Mac App Store. In short, it works as well as that paying uninstallers. Good luck for updates.

Is it compatible with Lion ? And why it don't detect some Package of the applications which are downloaded from the Mac App Store like CleanMyMac ?

Works perfect with Lion (GM) and SL. You're the best guys ;)

This software is ridiculous, I paid it and used it for several months (I made a mistake than you can avoid) and my mac has never worked so well since I uninstalled. All applications of MacKeeper don't work corectly, the uninstaller is ridiculous, the file encryption is stupid (300MB for a text file of 10KB!), the search for files don't work well (do the test!), the updates are extremely rare, the online storage is still not available (when you pay for it's a shame), and I don't talk about the price for a year. No seriously, Zeobit team spent more time to advertise his website than the software itself. Their goal is to do pay the new mac switchers (like me at the time) who feel the need for a gas plant to clean up their mac. My advice if you really want to use the software: try it in demo mode for several weeks and ask yourself the question because there are a lot of freeware (or not) that are much more efficient. On uninstalling it's the hell because no uninstaller is provided (and MacKeeper installs a lot of files : go to their forum for more explanations of users that uninstalled it) and don't be alarmed if your Mac after installation slows sharply, it's normal, it's MacKeeper...

After a lot of tests I decided to buy iFFmpeg and I don't regreat my purchase especially that all futures updates are included. I have just one question : I take a compilation of FFmpeg on this site : http://go.to/osxffmpegcompiling (the FFMPEG git-N-30155 OS X Intel 64bit and it work fine), but as I am a beginner I'm not sure what package I need to take.
Anyway, good luck to the developer !

Can we embed subtitles as with handbrake ? I don't find an option to choose a subtitle file... (I hope that it's possible!)

mickaphd replied on 26 May 2011
thanks for your answer. In fact I saw this option but there is no window to choose the srt file for example, and even if my subtitle file (same name that my video file) is in the same folder that my original video : the subtitles are not embed...

No novelty for a NORMAL user : it's ridiculous to call it v.5. Mozilla will lose many users and it's very sad. Please don't force me to switch to Chrome...
Improve the interface under macosx (remove the title bar), improve the management of the ram : here are some improvements to consider.

A great application that fully replaces an heavy google earth and intrusive with google update. There have no reproache to do for this software, maybe a 64bit version (for Lion) but it's not very important.
For the developper : very good job and good luck for next updates ;)

One of the best application on Mac OS X. Developpers improve it year by year (there is already a nightly build for Lion). The CPU activity is very low (same for RAM) so for me it's perfect !
