Upon launching the app the app goes busy and shows the hour glass. I use voice over, a screen reader for mad osx 10.6 and higher. It can be accessed with cmd f5 from any ware.

Jere is the cobol log.

I did except the prompt of the address book and the calendar, said yes to both so dunno what's going on here.

Ok. I think I mgiht have solved my problem wiht no dialogues coming up when I run the program. I already have mavericks installed. I hear you cannot build a boot disk when you already have mavericks installed even though I have the app in my app folder still. (I coppied it from my back up) Can this be looked in to?

I can't get disk maker x to work with os 10.9. I use voice over and it says that disk maker x has no windows. Indeed that's true. There are no back round windows or other dialogues to speak of *frown* Can this be looked in to?

Actually lion disk maker worked perfectly. right down to the wa hoo of homer. All dialogues were accessible and voice over was able to read them. I recently reinstalled mavericks due to some other issues so I'll try again at least to get the dialogues up not to make the boot disk as I already did this via the terminal 2 days ago. I have not updated to v 3.1. I am using what ever was on mac update.com 2 days ago.

Nope. I launched the app and no dialogue appeared. This is on a fresh infall of mavericks. here is a screenshot of the window.

Like I stated before the prior version formally known as lion disk maker worked flawlessly. with voice over. I tested it on my machine and a friends machine and both worked. Thoughts as to what's up here?

Hey thanks for that. I hope they can fix this as this will be easier then the terminal way, which is already doable but for the beginner mac user or the intermedia mac user in a hurry. Keep us posted.

Thanks.

Sorry it took for ever for me to reply but basically what's happening is this.
I launch disk maker x and no dialogue comes up asking me what I want to do. I've tried reinstalling it, rebooting, and reinstalling mavericks (for a different reason) and no go. I even tried to have someone look on the screen with vo off and still no dialogue.

Over all this is a very good program, how ever unless I missed it, I cannot see theability to turn all the folders I put in the table each in to their own archive not one big archive. Also the buttons in the tool bar are not labeled for voice over users. Help tags would be nice though if lables cannot be provided. Thoughts?

I liked this program until it went by by. A shame as I bought it in about october or november of 2010 for the christmas special. It was 20 dollars. I'm looking for a piece of software that does like sarchiver and more for about the same price or lower if possible. it's a shame that the software had to be discontinued as the developer was wonderful in smashing bugs and responding. I even did a youtube video demo series on sarchiver about 6 months before it went down.
