I just got my copy of V2 of DeltaWalker and have to say it's more of the same goodness.

If you haven't tried DeltaWalker yet for comparing files and folders, you've got to do it!

I got DeltaWalker 1.9 in September last year included in a MacUpdate bundle, and at the time didn't really give much thought to it compared with other apps in the bundle. When I checked it out though and watched the basic video tutorials they provide, I figured it'd be worth keeping it installed on my mac, maybe I'd use it sometime.

Jump to now, about six months later and DeltaWalker is unquestionably my most used app from the bundle! (along with Screenflow, which I'd already owned prior to getting it again in bundle) I use it regularly for all types of comparisons. Comparisons are really fast and the interface is very intuitive when it comes to actually analyzing the differences between files. I mainly do folder comparisons to quickly find differences between backups and working folders on differing external drives and also file comparisons (particularly with text files) to make sure I'm not losing data when removing files.

Before I got it, it wasn't really an app I thought I had a major use for, and I'm really probably not the target audience (I do a bit of web dev and coding stuff, but had never really had a desperate need to run a diff before I got it -- though, I had tried other apps for syncing/checking for duplicates, but they were always so slow [DeltaWalker is crazy fast] and never really felt like I could see that they were actually checking for differences in files because of their simple interfaces -- in the end, before DeltaWalker, I would just CMD+i on both versions of the files/folders and eyeball the number of bytes in each), but needless to say it has become an indispensible tool for me in my day to day work (I work in professional video).

Hope this helps anyone considering buying the app. If you think you'll ever have a need to compare files or folders, DeltaWalker is a no brainer!

I've been using Toast for like 10 years, and it is without a doubt the best, most reliable burning program for the mac!

Currently using version 11 (which I picked up discounted here on MacUpdate last year) on a late 2013 MacBook Pro running Mavericks and burning via an external burner. It is perfect.

The video/audio conversion options are really good and reliable too.

Absolutely essential for all Mac owners. Highly recommended.

I picked up this app in July last year when it was the promo of the day, and just saw it was the promo of the day again today. I wrote a comment on that post, but thought I should come and do a quick review here too.

I had a couple of issues when I first got the app last year, but the developer responded so quickly and had an update to me the same day which fixed the issue! Unprecedented level of support -- I'd never experienced anything like it.

I've been happily using the app for annotating pdf's ever since. It's been stable and works perfectly for my needs. I have PDF Pen Pro also, but prefer PDF Nomad.

This is the first review I've done here on MacUpdate, even though I've bought a bunch of apps from here. I know when I considered purchasing PDF Nomad last year, I was on the fence, so figured I'd review it to help anyone having trouble deciding.

Great support. Great app. I definitely recommend it!
