Another great app bites the dust...

As someone in the entertainment industry, I'm constantly capturing stills and clips of movies and TV for reference. But the Mac OS X audio/video screen capture feature (Command+Shift+3 and Command+Shift+4 for stills, Option+Command+n for audio/video) has always prevented me from doing so by blanking out the viewer window in my DVD player app whenever I try capturing.

It's why Snapz Pro was a GODSEND, by allowing me to capture stills and clips without having to rip my own DVDs just to remove the DRM first.

And why I was so HEARTBROKEN after installing the latest update (2.5.1) to discover that Snapz Pro now disables the video in my DVD player viewer AND my iTunes browser...

...defeating the entire purpose of buying this app in the first place!

Seriously, am I missing something? Why pay $70.00 for an app that does what your Mac can already do for free?
