I was a click away to purchase - but the application is missing a feature that is crucial for me. Ability to assign particular day to one specific project of those I am currently working over. I could either use Notes (great) or Markers (even greater) but color indication is not enough for me (with 40 projects I immediately run out of colors) - I need to see a little Marker Name directly in 365 view. Also Note marker is not enough - as I need to hover to check whether my day is assigned to Project 1 or Project 2 or free.

If author promises to add this feature soon (display Marker name or Note first words directly in 365 view cells) I promise to buy a license today. ;-)

Thanks.

I thought I made it clear: I would love to see the Note (a few first letters of course) without hovering. :-)

You could also consider another option (among other two): displaying directly in calendar's cell the name of all-day task from selected calendars (if there are more than one all-day tasks: first of available).

I know people who travel a lot, and use all-day tasks to indicate their planned location. Using calendar instead of Markers/Notes in this scenario allow editing outside of yCal.

Hmm, I'd rather meant that user had one of four options for "Show this text in each calendars cell:"
- none
- marker's name
- note
- first all-day task in selected calendars

Until then the 365 view is a rainbow of meaningless colors. :-)

At first glance GoodSync seemed an excellent solution. I could've easy named it the best folder synchronization software available for mac. But after doing some testing I decided to remove it from my computer. In area of backup and synchronization - I require a software that is more than reliable. Meanhwile, GoodSync has some major issues with properly handling folders & files operations! I do not know whether these arise from some minor bugs in selection/deselection/context/pointer handling - but it resulted in removal of files and folders I had never wished to remove! Actually I didn't even touch those files in comparison results nor tried to sync them. Thank you, author, for _saved_ folder as I could recover missing files. But such an unpredicted behaviour is much unacceptable to me. :-(

Other issues:
- when select a few items and pick "delete right file" only first (?) of selected items is actually removed (or maybe GoodSync removed then the other items I had later found in _saved_ folder?)
- expand/collapse state of folders is not maintained between operations; this is frustrating
- unable to apply default auto-resolution of conflicts when job is not done in schedule - must decide for every item
- the interface is incredibly slow; after comparing a few thousand files I decided to apply "copy to right" rule for all about 600 conflicting items selected at once - the program hanged forever

But all those above is - i must say this once again - nothing in comparison to the unpredictable file handling issue.

How am I supposed to give it a try? What a stupid policy to allow buying via AppStore only?

It seems that 1.9.8 version has trouble with "Follow symbolic links" option. I've got a few symlinks to folders (not Mac aliases though!) and these are always treated as folders (and so all the children tree is compared) regardless of the setting.

BTW. I would love to see hex-binary comparison window as an option of file comparison.
