Does anyone know how to license Meridian? It is still working well onMavericks, but there is no way to license it.I wonder why it was abandoned.

With Painter 12 Corel has taken a huge and horrible step in the wrong direction As a person with visual problems I fine the new interface is virtually unusable, not to mention the lack of integration withVoiceOver, the Mac’s screenreader. I purchased Painter 7 many years ago and was pleased with the direction Corel had been taking the program through version 9, the last one with which I am very familiar. Asking why the developers would abandon a wonderfully useful tool like the Brush Creator in favor of the current panels or the nicely realized brush icons and pallettes in Painter 9 with the nasty ones in Painter 12 is to open the door to a vision of a very depressing future in terms of Painter’s likely direction of development.
In a way it is easy to understand their desire to seek a greater integration with Photoshop, but in another way the original painter which was designed as an Arts program with a beautiful interface is a compelling enough idea that if Corel would re-imagine Painter for the Mac if they were to ignore Photoshop and simply produce an elegant Painting program. I think they would find a permanent and supportive market rather than carping critics such as myself.
My primary reason for writing this is that I would like to know if Painter 11 will run successfully on OSX 10.8.2 Mountain Lion and if anyone would like a bargain on a copy of Painter 12?

Hooray! At last. I wonder how many other people have been waiting for Unsanity to announce upgrades before installing Snow Leopard. It is probably unrealistic to expect a small company to combine public relations skills with those required to write nifty software, but it sure would be nice if someone with some sense of how to quell the anxiety's, and often expressed angry frustration, of their customer base would contribute a couple of paragraphs that they could post on their website to explain the difficulty Unsanity has in trying to stay abreast of Apple.

Question: I accidentally added a folder to the 'Move to' menu. Is there an easy way to remove it?
Thanks for this much needed addition to the Mac.

Scanwise which worked fine with OS9 IClassic) has not been updated for years and no longer works as of 10.4.3. Now a piece of hardware wisth no software to run it is worse than no hardware at all. If Agfa fails in its responsibities to its Mac customers I would strongly urge all of you not to buy Agfa products.

Have a nice day,

John
