simply put, vox is a great little audio player. If you just want to listen to the music of a folder and don't want to import all files to iTunes, vox is the best way of just letting the music run in the background.

The app is very easy to use, but i've tried to convert a wmv to mp4 and while the sound was ok, the video was jumping a lot. I've converted the video with Handbrake and the result was just what i wanted.
I haven't tried to convert other files, so i guess it works great for other file formats.
I guess with some under the hood improvements it would really become a nice alternative to the old visual hub. it's still beta, so i guess there's plenty potential left.

isn't that what the plutil commandline tool is doing?

that's part of Mac OS X and already converts and prints plist files.

yeah, i want to second that. I've been using Yummy FTP for years now. I've never had problems and if I found something that bugged me I've just contacted the developer and he fixed it in no time.

this feature has been in Camouflage since a long time. You can show and hide the files from the menubar or from the context-menu when the desktop is hidden. You can even assign a hotkey to switch icons on and off.

exactly what i was looking for...thx a lot!!

if you want to sort by time you should try to edit the file Ebay.js which you can access by right-clicking the EbayAddict.wdgt in ~/Library/Widgets and select "show package contents" from the context menu.

in that file you should do a search and replace for all "alert" and replace it with "//alert" because otherwise this widget will continuesly write into your console....

then go to line 415...there's
// Sort array by item ID

replace the a.id - b.id with a.timeleft > b.timeleft
save the file, go to dashboard and click on the ebay addict widget... then hit cmd-r to reload it and things shoud be sorted...

good luck
