Howdy,

Version 1.5.7 corrects the problem I had with 1.5.6. Back to all 5* for me. Does just what it says it does.

Good Luck,

Howdy,

Trouble with version 1.5.6. No progress sheet shown so I have no idea of Monolingual is actually doing anything. Version 1.5.5 worked fine for me on my 18.8.2 system.

Good Luck,
herbs2

Overall rating is based on earlier versions! Would also like to see the ability to review the log from within Monolingual.

Howdy,

The SourceForge project page no longer has 1.5.6 posted. I suggest the local copy be removed also. Version 1.5.5 is available at the SourceForge project pages and it seems to work fine with 10.8.2.

Howdy,

After discussion with the author of monolingual it appears the problem occurs because of an older version of the helper app (pre-version 1.5.2) since I've used monolingual for a very long time. You need to remove /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/net.sourceforge.MonolingualHelper and restart version 1.5.6 and it works fine.

Thanks to the author for this very useful application!

Howdy,

Logitech now has version 7.8.1 out and, amazing as it may seem, it actually works under OS X 10.8, Mountain Lion! Communicates with the 900 remote perfectly. It's only taken multiple years for this to happen.

Howdy,

Do NOT buy this via the App Store! The version you can directly download from the jinx web site is at version 3.18 and even seems to work under Mountain Lion! The cost directly from the jinx web site (via esellerate) is a bit higher than through the App Store but, again, the App Store version doesn't work.

I already had a license via the App Store and followed the directions on the jinx site but the new version said it was unregistered so I ended up buying a second license to get it activated.

So the answer is to pay the extra cost to buy it direct and don't spend the money at the App Store.

Howdy,

Version 1.5.0 consistently crashes on startup on my 10.7 system. The previous 1.4.5 version works well. Can't figure out how to report the problem and submit the crash report to the author.

Howdy,

I tried the first 11.2 beta and it crashed so often and had an offending line at the bottom of the pane that I won't try any more 11.2 betas.

Howdy,

@Umaromc: from other reviews I'm guessing lots of bugs still exist in this beta. Maybe once this comes out of beta I'll try to use it. But I'll no longer be an alpha tester for Adobe; there are enough problems with the released version of Flash on Mac that I live with.

Good Luck,

The file appears to be invisible in Finder under 10.7.2 when downloaded.

Howdy,

Sigh... sorry, it's another Lion glitch and has nothing to do with this download!!!

Howdy,

Ummm... why do you say it's not a Lion problem? How do you know that? Have you had any problems with Finder in Lion? Lots of other folks have.

Howdy,

@Zo219: This is a dmg file for flash that I downloaded so there is no application that hasn't been used in a while.

Good Luck,
herbs2

PS: In any case my comment is irrelevant to this beta version of flash player.
