Don't give these people your email address. I made this mistake and now they send me spam regularly. Their emails provide no way to unsubscribe. I manually requested unsubscription once already, but they did not respect my requests and continue to spam me. I never buy from spammers and recommend you do not either.

VP is in a class of its own. It is an innovation, and the developer keeps on innovating. Its an integral part of my workflow.

I purchased a license for an earlier version and would do so again for this latest version, however I have not been able to reach the website for months. Please check your firewall settings Flying Meat, and allow us visitors from South America please (200.* .*.*). Thanks.

BBEdit was my mainstay for years until I checked out Textmate. I bought BBEdit 8 or 8.2 anyway and was giving it another look when i noticed 8.6 was out. Cool. Wait! They want $30 to upgrade from 8.2 to 8.6?!

I don't who is paying so much for such a minor upgrade, but its not going to be me. BBEdit is off of my radar again for quite some time.

Mariner Calc is decent software with some minor bugs.

However, I'd like to note how very difficult they make it for paying customers to upgrade their Mariner Calc installs.

I own a current, valid license for Mariner Calc.

To upgrade I had to fill out a form on their website with my name and email address and opt-out of their mailing list.

Then I had to confirm my email address "to reduce spam". That makes no sense, I am not emailing them I trying to upgrade my licensed copy of their app.

Anyway I do this and it takes me to the download page. I click on the download link and lo behold and I must AGAIN fill out this form and opt-out of their mailing list before they will give me the latest version of the app I paid $50 for.

Mariner, take a page from Panic, Adium, iBank and the likes and do NOT make your customers jump through irritating hoops to upgrade!!
