Been looking for a solution like this for years. Works great. Plenty of send time options. Used it twice successfully and paid for a license. I'm running 10.8 still, works fine.

Nice little app, just what I wanted — a way to ZIP files without those DS_Store files cluttering things up for Windows users.

Growl support was a nice little bonus.

Thanks!

Head over to the developer's site for the latest version, this app has been updated to 3.06, and works fine under 10.8 with iOS6.

Excellent standalone YouTube player. As others have mentioned, being able to log in to your account would be great but even as-is, it's great. It's a little unintuitive, but hey it's free :)

I use it as a player. Works fine for me. Plenty of other free apps that download if this doesn't work the way you want it to.

I've been participating in the 3.0 beta, so I have some experience with the new version. I was a long-time user of the app prior to 3.0 and this update brings much of the functionality that I was looking for in earlier versions along with lots of great new stuff.

The developer was very responsive to the feedback of us beta testers, so I feel the 3.0 release is a very solid release, worthy of both the upgrade for existing users as well as a full license for new users.

Any hangups I had with pre-3.0 versions are gone. This is still a bit of an advanced app for the novice Mac user, but with a little bit of time and trial and error, any Mac user could start using this even just for some of the basic functions. Once you get more advanced, Hazel will keep up with you.

Having "current time" criteria as well as the new nested rules is a huge improvement and will streamline your rule setups immensely. Rule creation, preview and testing is much improved in this release.

One of my top must-have Mac apps just got better. Can't recommend this highly enough for automating stuff on your Mac.

@Sigil - contact the developer, he'll be sure to get back to you. That said, the new version will continue to do what you need, but you may find yourself using more of Hazel's features as I feel the rules are a bit easier to construct now. And you can always just hold off on the upgrade until compatibility forces you :)

You could try his forums, it might already be there. Dev would be glad to answer I'd think.

Great extension! Being able to Tab over to the search engine list dropdown menu is key, so one can search without taking their hands off the keyboard.

Great job, thanks for making this available!

Anyone know how to allow The Unarchiver to extract files in 10.8 when invoking using Automation (Hazel in this case)?

I keep getting a dialog box that requires me to manually allow the extraction of RAR files, assuming because they are newly downloaded.

I thought the non-MAS version would solve this, but that's not the case.

Thank you! Wasn't sure if there was a way to set "permissions" of some sort.

I've been having quite a bit of inconsistency with the extension, in contrast to the older plugin which used to work superb.

May videos pop up the HTML5 player controls and static screenshot, but never finish loading. When they do load, often I get stuttering and/or the audio is out of sync.

Otherwise, I will see an error message that "this video is currently unavailable". When I switch to Chrome to view, it loads fine.

I am wondering if perhaps my settings are incorrect for the extension. I can't figure out why I am having so many issues with this when others seem to not have them. Any help would be appreciated! I'm on 10.8 now, but was seeing the same issues under 10.7.

I should note that I do not currently have Flash installed on the Mac/Safari. When I need Flash I use Chrome since it's built-in to that browser. Perhaps the lack of Flash is causing my problems?

@Marc: Thanks for the info, I suspected the lack of Flash might be the issue. Will try and note when I get HTML5 videos that don't load & let you know. Great extension, thanks for making this available!

I have issues with the "open link in new window" command, just opens a new window in the background with the home page. Anyone else seeing this? I emailed the developer but got no reply to this issue.

Also, the contextual (right-click) menu seems to be missing some items such as "open image in new tab" etc. I feel like this version is a step down from the beta.

Does anyone else experience issues with Smart Scroll's Grab Scroll not working with either Echofon or Twitter for Mac?

It's very odd that the two apps that I have issues with are both Twitter clients. It's probably just a coincidence.

I see this issue in Reeder for Mac as well. I've been in contact with developer, who said he was going to look into the scrolling situation with these apps, but that was a month or so ago. Hoping to see this addressed soon, as I use both apps quite a bit.

The developer is working on fixing this issue currently. I just tested a beta version and it's working now. No idea when it will be released.

Adding favorites is buggy, seems to be related to phone numbers in 555.555.5555 format - results in just the number showing up, not the name.

Otherwise launches OK, haven't given it a test yet for actual chatting.
