Developer announced $14.99 upgrade for owners of Winclone 3 (and refund/rebate if you paid full price when upgrading previously)

If anyone's wondering why OSX Firefox 20.0 isn't updating to 20.0.1 it may be because it was a "Windows-only" update.

Essential if you receive a lot of emails from Windows users and have to deal with Outlook winmail.dat files.

Developer is extremely responsive and fixed an install glitch I had on my system within 24 hours.

Totally worth the money to have a totally transparent "it just works" solution.

The "What's New" note for 1.4.2 shown above is a bit misleading.
Official release notes indicate:
1.4.2
- Fix Menu not updating on Ubuntu 12.04
- Fix performance problem when syncing a lot of files on Linux

So for Mac users the 1.4.2 update is probably not critical and why it hasn't been pushed / auto-updated from 1.4.1.

Version 1.20 is a "stable release" which is being pushed to Dropbox users.

Essential application for seamless sync'ing of files between multiple computers (I.E. notebook & desktop) and iPhone. Can't live without it.

Time for everyone to pass on Chrome. I'll never install on any Mac. With the H.264 baloney it's clear Google has no interest in what's best for the user community. Free means targeted advertising and giving up a bit of your privacy so they can make their billions.

I've using Transmit for perhaps 10 years. Version 4 is the best yet. Transmit is one of my favorite essential Mac programs.

People who are complaining about the "minor" appearance changes are missing the point.

What part of "up to 25X faster" don't you understand. This is huge when making big changes to a web site when you may be uploading hundreds or thousands of files. Ridiculously faster loading files to iDisk via webdav than Apple's finder implementation.

The "Transmit Disk Feature" alone is worth the upgrade price. This allows your FTP location to mount as a standard folder in the finder. Drag and drop any file in the finder to this folder and - voila - it's uploaded. Transmit doesn't even need to be running. Also, any program can now read and write files via this method to the ftp site.

The PDF viewer plug-in still does not appear be be compatible with Safari running in the 64-bit mode - so if you want to use Adobe Reader to view PDFs within Safari - relaunch Safari running in the 32-bit mode.

Update installation went smoothly. Parallels Tools updated Win XP SP3 with no difficulties.

FYI Apparently Parallels does not provide a direct download link for the latest update. You'll need to log into your Parallels account and they will email you a link to your download. They'll send you a trial key but if you have a permanent license key - it isn't needed.

I'm still using Classic menu in Lion 10.7.5 and Mountain Lion 10.8.2

It's a little finicky. Several times on Lion it was working fine one day and mysteriously would not launch the next. Once with a Lion system update - it started working again.

So it quit working again today - After reapplying the 10.7.5 Combo update again and doing usual system maintenance stuff with no success resurrecting it - I tried deleting the System Caches using Cocktail. That fixed it. Working fine again.

Interestingly never had any problem under Mountain Lion.

I've been using this utility for a decade and like its configurability to launch any app or document I want quickly. I'm not a fan of LaunchPad. As an alternative for those having problems - try xMenu. It can be configured to work the same way - just with the menu to the right on the menubar.

Cookie Dog has not been updated in a while and seems to have a problem parsing certain cookies. This can result in a corrupted cookie file. (Safari 3 & 4). Safari then creates a new cookie file.

Suggest looking at Cocoa Cookie which seems to work fine (Safari only) and allows locking and editing cookies.
