PageSucker is probably the best software for copying websites on local disk. I have been missing it due to incompatibilities with the JVM. I don't know why, it is now working again with the latest Java update on 10.6.6. And I was lucky enough to still have the registration key somewhere. Using PageSucker I can make a copy of complex sites when all other similar applications (Windows, too) fail. It is a pity the developer ceased developing and supporting it.

Simple, un-obstrusive and fast, very fast application. Using Google Maps in eMaps is a real pleasure. Google should buy this application and hire its developer to maintain it.

I agree with most of the comments posted about the new version 2.0. Besides that I don't like the black background on the new interface when expanding the file list tree. White on black, especially on a MacBook monitor, is not easy to read. Would it be possible to have an option to stick to the old interface or change the background to a lighter shade of grey so it will still be evident that one is reading and expanded tree?

I had to desinstall this version: sometimes it hangs and when it seems to launch regularly newly added torrents are not working. I had to go back to the previous build.

After installing Perian 1.1 and QT 7.4.1 most avi files took a a long, long time (a few minutes) to load while QT was unresponsive. Reinstalled Perian 1 and everything was ok again. (Leopard 10.5.1). Is it just me or anybody else has experienced the same problem?

PageSucker is by far the best application for downloading entire websites. I bought a licence a few years ago and I think its value is much more than its licence fee.

However now it has serious problems and almost every time I use it, it freezes. I imagine his is due to changes in Java (the problems are the same on Mac or on Windows).

Is there any chance that a new version will be released in the future? I am ready to pay a new shareware fee, even higher than the original one, and I am sure most people having used it will agree with me.
