Their DRM measures are quite draconain. You have to enter a serial number, go to their web sites, generate an activation code, go back to the app and then activate it.

God forbid you swap out your boot dive once too often (as I apparently did) and am not unable to "activate" the software I've purchased, and they are taking a very long time to respond to emails.

I guess they want me to find a different piece of software to use.

I have been trying for over a week to obtain a trial key but nothing ever arrives in my email.

There are no problems with this security update that I've discovered.

There seems to be some kind of bug in 6.0 that refuses to launch the second copy of the client on my dual 1 GHz MDD.

I tried trashing the SETI Menu preferences, but no dice.

This utility is a bit nerdy, and since the code is GPL's you can expect other utilites to soon incorporate the full gamut of key remappings under Panther, but for now, this utility is the only way for me to re-map the enter key on my powerbook to another function key under Panther. (I find it very useful to be able to page up/page down with one hand (function + up/down arrow).

This upgrade includes no READ ME file or changelog. I poked around inside the PKG (the only item on the disk image) and there is nothing useful.

The Microsoft web site contains no information (as far as I was able to find) about what bugs are fixed (if any) with this version, what features (if any) are new in this version.

I guess we're just supposed to automatically upgrade and be thankful that Microsoft has deigned to release a new version.

Am I daft or does the installer refuse to install the package?

After installing GPGMail 1.0.2 the applescript asks if you'd like to launch mail now. I said yes, and was very surprised that the Classic App called Mail (in Internet Utilities) launched instead rather than Mail.
