While I use Dropbox for my file sharing and synching, However, I also use Droplr as a part of my workflow.

One thing Dropbox doesn't do is screenshots. When I am working on a client design, I will often screenshot the progress, just to give the client a quick visual update.

Using my custom hotkey, it's a snap to screenshot, and upload, and be immediately given a URL to paste into my client emails. I don't really focus on "versions" of my work (for that, I'd use Adobe Creative Cloud) ... so I don't usually ever go back to a Droplr upload. I screencap it, send it and forget it. And it just works.

I also love that premium users can use a custom domain. Everything I send to clients appears as if it's coming from my main website, displayed and showcased nicely.

That said, I do wish they'd give an option for annotations. I don't use them myself, and it's an extra click for me to "upload". This is a newer feature, and I honestly preferred the faster/auto upload.

I know I will probably get rated super low for this review, but I don't really think it's fair to rate this app because of it's subscription platform, as I see many doing.

I am one of the minority who is happy to see Adobe provide different alternatives to their previous "have to rob a bank to afford it" software suite choices. No sooner had I purchased CS5 a few years ago, then CS6 came out, and in this economy, it was very difficult for a small business owner like myself to afford. It was like a dream come true when they came out with the monthly cost.

However, speaking ONLY about the actual app. It not only does the job, but it exceeds my expectations with new features I end up using regularly, with every update.

And with the new Photography program, I have downgraded from the full CC suite, and I am now only paying $10 a month for not only Photoshop, but Lightroom as well.

MU asks us to rate: Features, Ease of Use, Value and Stability. Other than some minor crashes, I've had no problems with using Photoshop CC everyday since they released it.

Now, if we were going to rate their customer service, THAT would be where I'd rate them lower. But all in all, I am very happy with Photoshop CC.

I rated this a 4 last January, mainly due to the lacking of custom textures. However, this little app has proven SO useful for my vintage project workflow (that would take a lifetime in Photoshop), that I am upgrading my rating to 5 stars.

I rarely ever write reviews, but this app is such a brilliant but beautifully simple concept, and has saved me so much collective time in clicks and navigating to Save and Open dialogues.

I'm a designer and work on several projects at once, so it's a total pain to have to use the rather unintuitive function of saving files in the various client folders on my Mac. I've always wondered why Apple doesn't even have a "recent" function, as Windows does.

That said, Default Folder solves this, with beautiful integration and without getting in the way of my workflow, but rather, making it a whole lot easier.

They offer a trial. Give it a try for even a week, and if you are a multi-tasker like me, you won't be able to live without it. This is in my top 3 must-haves, can't-live-without, apps.

My only issue is the price is a little hefty, but when I compare that to how much time I save in using it, it easily pays for itself in a month.

Great little app. Got it on sale today for $7.99. I was already planning on buying this a few days ago after using the trial, so the special pricing had perfect timing.

I'm a graphic designer and primarily never look beyond Photoshop for my tools. However, I have an upcoming vintage style photo project coming up and Flare was the perfect solution to running actions, etc, in PS.

Fun to play with and the ability to save presets is a huge bonus. I would gladly give 5 stars if it had the ability to add custom textures. I have not found that yet. I hope this is something they add. Either way, this is a snazzy little photo effects app!

Thank you Talos, that makes perfect sense. I used the app again today and every time I work with it, I love it more and more. Keep up the great work.

Like many others here (and on the App Store), I didn't pay attention to the reviews recently left by Skitch users, about this recent upgrade. I guess I didn't feel like I had to. Skitch is a part of my everyday workflow and I didn't think twice about any upgrade being this much of a sharp change, let alone removing features so many of us have come to love.

There are many more issues than this, but just to name a few:

** Custom shortcuts. WHY was this option removed?
** Menu icon. Again, why was this removed? Many Mac users like having a slim/clean dock.

The list goes on and on but the idea of an upgrade is to improve upon the already rock solid features of an already very popular and loved app. NOT to break things that were not even close to broken, or to change the UI so much that we don't even recognize what used to be a lovely little app.

Please bring back the goodness of Skitch! I hate hate hate to leave a 1 star review for an app I have used and loved everyday for years, but there just is no choice.

I have gone through so many note and sticky apps, I think I've tried just about all of them. I use Evernote for all my important "permanent" notes and information but am always looking for the perfect small note/sticky app.

I've found that with Spiral Bound. I love how the note can be torn off the pad, or put back on, respectively. I also can't live without the Float feature ... for those times I need my notes to stay on top of my workflow.

I hope to see this app continue to grow and mature. Definitely 5 stars in my book!
