dacleary had trouble on 19 Jun 2007
I have a Powerbook G4 Titanium (yeah, it still runs great) and I print to a Brother HL-1850 using the CUPS 1.1 driver. Nonetheless, when I try to print any pdf form I have filled out with Adobe Acrobat 8.1.0 the physical print out looks horrible. Everything is pixelated, i.e., there are no solid lines but lines composed of, say, half the pixels that should be there. I only have this problem with Acrobat Reader. I had the same problem with ver. 7.0. But if memory serves me correctly, there was no such problem with 6.0. Of course I deleted that when I added 7.0. Is this just an isolated incident? I think they have crippled the printing function to get you to buy the full program. Anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance.

[Version 8.1]
