I've been reading the reviews of MacKeeper both before and after deciding to purchase it so it is with some trepidation that I venture an opinion.
As a long term (22years) PC user, I moved across to Mac about 3 years or so ago. I miss the ability to easily manage the admin of my system and I realised that my MacBok Pro was slowing down and required restarting frequently now.
Looking for a program to clean up and manage my system on the Mac lead me to this program. I saw that there were some reviews that were quite vociferous in their attacks on the company and the software. I agree that the marketing is a bit aggressive with all the pop-ups etc but if I ignored that irritation, the program seemed to work reasonably.
Had it for about a month or so now and have no particular problems with the program. Haven't had to contact tech support so can't comment on that aspect. My MacBook Pro is now operating more stably and somewhat faster than before.
It hasn't made it as good as when I first bought the machine with nothing on it but I didn't expect that.
Buy it again? Probably would without any particular reservations except for the marketing!!
