On Adobe's blog, they list the 14.1.2 update being released on 9/25/2013: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2013/09/photoshop-cc-14-1-1-update-now-available.html#1412

It lists the following fixes:

Today we released Photoshop CC update version 14.1.2 (for Creative Cloud members, Mac and Windows), resolving the following issues:

F5 was deleting layers instead of opening Brushes panel
Crashing while editing paths
Intermittent crash using Generator
Issue running actions with Generate>Image Assets enabled
OpenGL functionality disabled on some Windows systems with both Nvidia and ATI cards

Why is it appearing on MU now?

In Mavericks (I can't test prior versions of GateKeeper), if GateKeeper is active (either set to Mac App Store or MAS & Identified Developers), it will show a warning that the app is damaged, and offer to move it to the trash.

One workaround is to set GateKeeper to "anywhere" in System Preferences > Security & Privacy / General.

Having the developer sign the app would fix the issue.

13.0.2 added HiDPI images. Then 13.0.3 added HiDPI images. Now 13.0.4 adds HiDPI images.

Some have gleaned that Adobe has quietly fixed some errors that would revert licensed copies to trials (I do believe they made that public in one of the release notes). But what about this one? Or are they just going to parrot the same thing for the next 10 updates?

That's cool. So it took 'em 3 versions to get the trial issue fixed. These guys man. What's QA?

It looks beautiful, but without a trial, I'll pass. Throwing $5 on something I may never use isn't how I roll. A shame when devs don't put out trials. And I'm already missing the days of shareware (which the MAS does not seem to work well with).

It does. Sexy as hell; color me impressed. No problems there. Just want to make sure the usability and functionality is there too. Too many Twitter clients phone it in when it comes to those two departments.

Just another bunch of scam artists that give out free copies of their software in exchange for 5-star ratings. Not really that hard to figure it out. Why MacRumors doesn't do anything about this is beyond me. Maybe they get a kickback? Maybe they don't care about cheesy bunko artists abusing the system? Who knows...

Onyx can do everything this can and more... and it's actually stable and reliable. Donate to the developers of Onyx if you want to spend money on such a tool.

@Misha, page 8. Macpaw said the following:

"All the posts, here or at other resources, are made by our users only. We do have some promotions where we give out licenses - and therefore request comments or testimonials about their experience, there is nothing wrong with that. Thank you all for your feedback! We try hard to make our application the best utility available. "

You can interpret "request comments or testimonials" however you like (I tend to see an exchange going on: you get a free license, but leave a good review). I also encourage you to look at all the 5-star reviews. 99% of them use broken English (the developers are Ukrainian) and are from members who have no prior history of posting on this board. Moreover, these allegedly fraudulent reviews have all been down voted by members of the MU community (so clearly I'm not the only one noticing a trend).

If that's not enough to raise alarm bells, then I guess you are using "investigate" in much looser terms. There won't be a big neon sign that reads "we are bilking the MU comment/rating system to increase revenue; yes we are total scam artists" I'm afraid.

I'm not sure what's going on, but it appears in the MAS for $1.99. However, their website (http://www.splayer.org/index.en.html) lists it as being open source (See the comparison chart). Clicking the download button downloads a Windows executable. There's also a large donate button at the top of their website.

I'm not really sure what I'm paying for here. So far, however, alarm bells are ringing.

Extremely slick and wonderful little app. A deep price point, but that aside, it is nicely done. A few niggles:

1) It doesn't currently attribute itself to rars that end in 01, 02, 03, etc. Hopefully this can be added in a future release as it makes decompressing multiple rars that contain this old file naming scheme a bit inelegant.

2) Changing the toolbar isn't preserved between closing and relaunch.

All in all, I really like the implementation (and the standalone unpacking window rocks), but would love to see a little more polish for the hefty price tag :)

Awesome! Thanks guys. Can't wait for the update. It has currently replaced Unarchiver and with such wonderful and receptive customer service (as well as new icons coming), I'm sure it'll just get better and better!

A hefty price tag, but so far, I think it's worth it. As I said, the unpacking window is superb (as is its feature set) :)

Everything this app does, The Unarchiver can do, for free. So, you know, it's your call if you want to throw $2 down the toilet, or if you must part with it, give it to a worthwhile charity. I hear there are starving people all across this planet.

Works great on YouTube but fails to load videos on Facebook without having Flash installed :(

Thanks for the feedback Marc. I prefer your plugin's interface and controls over YouTube5 (which too actually didn't work for Facebook).

If I had to live without video on FB or install Flash, I would choose the former every single time. I'll wait for Facebook to wise up rather than acquiesce.

New version (r14) is unusable on Intel Core Duo. Video plays for a second and then freezes, while the audio continues to play, even on SD content. r13 plays them just fine.

This occurs using both the MT and standard mplayer binaries. Log file does not indicate anything erroneous. A shame...

No longer works on 10.6.4. Hoping to see an update as it is a very handy utility :)
