When it works, this is amazing. I especially love the ability to grab subtitles as well—as a deaf person this is invaluable.

However, I occasionally have issues where the app just fails to cache and the log doesn't seem to give any info. Sometimes reinstalling the app works, sometimes it doesn't. I tried to follow the link to the developer's site, but got an 'Ooops' 404. It might be something on my system so... please help!

I continue to love this app, especially now that the weird updating thing has been fixed! My only issue now (and I know it's probably at my end) is that it does not reliably launch at login/restart. It's very easy to notice now because the amazing coloured background feature allows me to ditch the stripes in Finder (much thanks for that!). I have added it to the list of login items and it doesn't seem to make much difference; I still need to launch it manually.

Other than that, great, great finder enhancement. Couldn't do without it. Thank you!

I've used various iterations of XF on both Lion and ML quite happily. Recently I've had trouble getting it to install—I download the package, go through the installation routine... and... zilch. No sign of XF, even in the applications folder. When I search for it using Alfred it finds the old deleted out of date versions of the app, but no sign of the newly installed version! I don't think there's anything odd about my setup unless there's potential conflicts with:
TotalSpaces
Hyperdock
....? I can't think of anything else that could interfere!

Because of my issues with installing I'm giving this three stars. Once this is sorted I'll happily make that four/five stars— if only Apple would integrate some of this functionality! I mean, come on... folders at the top. It's not rocket science!
