As a version 2 and 3 user, I too, will not be paying $99. for this upgrade. Previous users should not be paying this kind of price.
Too bad, for I liked the software, but it's just getting to expensive to keep up with. It was nice while it lasted. Thanks for the memories. If you come to your senses, please contact all your users so we can purchase as a reasonable UPDATE price.

Tried to install the update...it's gets to the very end and then up pops a message "Update Error! An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again later." I've tried 4 times through out the day today to no avail. Is it just me or is anyone else having issues getting this update to install? I'm running Mountain Lion on a Mac Pro. I'll give it 5 stars when it works again.

Tried this new version....same problem continues.
I keep getting this message: "Update Error! An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again later."

Updated to this version and it never finishes processing to produce the image file. Support is very slow and unhelpful. I've given up trying to resolve the problem and have reverted back to the previous version which works fine. I'm on a Mac Pro running Lion.
I'm still trying to find out what has been changed, added or fixed in this version. If anyone knows, please post.

Thought I'd give it a try. Just installed and imported 303GB of music from iTunes. It's very sluggish and when I launched it the second time, I just got the spinning beach ball "not responding" and had to force quite. It also didn't import my folders....only the playlists.
In to the trash it goes....back to iTunes with no problems.

Download and it says it's version 1.1. Won't install in Lion.
Any work arounds?

Ok...found 1.2, but still won't install. Installer says "Can't find iTunes"

Here's the fix for getting Hear to work in Lion. I just did it, and it works perfectly. Stop waiting for JoeSoft to fix it (could be a long wait).....just fix it yourself!

Being a Expression Media 2 user (and before that iView Media), I'm still waiting for Media Pro to be as good. My biggest complaint is that it takes a few seconds for the image to pop into focus in "media view" for tif or raw files. In Expression Media 2, it's in focus as soon at you change to media view. A few seconds may not seem like much, but when you are looking at a lot of images, waiting 2 to 3 seconds for the image to pop into focus seem's like a lifetime. The first release had this problem as well, and I was hoping they would have resolved this by the second release, but alas they did not. I will not be upgrading until they do. Too bad...I love this program, but is useless to me at this point. Thank God Expression Media 2 still is working. I gave it an Overall Rating of 1 because of this flaw.

I agree with Mac Mail. I've compared both Genuine Fractals and PhotoZoom and PhotoZoom is fare superior to Genuine Fractals on all levels. I have owned both, and now only use PhotoZoom.
