I transitioned from Adobe Muse to Freeway, as I got fed up with paying the subscription price. I am sure Freeway was the inspiration for Muse, very similar pieces of software. I actually prefer Freeway: it seems more mature, more responsive and with better documentation. It works great.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is useful for the finer control of a website, and Freeway provides for customizing each element with code.
I was worried about integrating webfonts, but it only took a couple of minutes, and not restricted to the "Adobe" ones.
The manual is 500 pages, and does require looking into at times, something that I am not accustomed to doing with modern software.
