For a product not under active development, they certainly managed to screw it up in the 24.0 release. Two terrible changes:

- It no longer uses Growl for notifications, so I can't style the notifications, I can't add timestamps, I can't make them persistent, they aren't sent around my network, etc. I don't know why they would spend time implementing their own vastly inferior notification system instead of just using Growl.

- Stars are now black, and the column for unstarred items has a heavy black dot, so stars are almost invisible. I star things so they stand out and are noticeable when I quickly scroll through my email list. No more. Now they're mostly useless.

This release is very disappointing, I'm probably going to go back to the previous release.

I created a rar archive and it wrote the archive to root! The logical place would be in the same directory as the thing I'm archiving, or Desktop or Downloads or something if I'm archiving multiple things from different directories, but it should never choose / by default.

Also, it would be nice if it supported Growl, and when creating an archive, the entire content field should accept dropped items.

I experimented and found that if I have Every item new archive unchecked, it does ask me where to save the archive, but if I have it checked, it doesn't, it just saves to /.

I agree, it's basically useless without the scrollbar. I used the pre-2.0 version and it was great, easily the best widget of its type, but had to dump it with the 2.0 version. I keep hoping the scroll bar will be added back.
