why, when i upgrade an app, doesn't this app, if not automatically, at least have a button to replace the newly upgraded app's icon to the icon i chose previously in th app?

this makes me launch this app upon every stinken upgrade (which is daily or more), remember and FIND the custom !con and reapply it!

AND i can't see my apps complete title.

AND why does the app give itself so much breathing room for its in-app titling?

• and sorting limitations,
• and the inability to adjust the hue/
contrast or saturation
• and why can't i superimpose titling with alpha and distortion tweaks
• and wouldn't it be nice if it talked to the web to find additional icons and download them for me?

and you CHARgE for this app?

maybe $.99 cents!

please....add nice app and make it robust. it and we deserve it!

what happened to the "volumes"? side bar is nice, but don't take away that volumes. some people like the guy below like big fat icons when drives appear or dmgs.

and what happened to the transparency adjustability of the primary window? what about transparency adjustability to other subservient windows in pathfinder?

my pathfinder is much more boring to adjust and operate now.

removing features should only be done if redundant or (very) passé. transparent guis are emerging and volume differentiation to the finder is why we want something other than the finder.

i can't even change the color of that damn finder-like window. light blue??? what ever!!! and since i use that damn blue window cuz i have to to see my drives, i have it placed else where which doesn't let me see the drop stack because you can't put that just anywhere you want. and you can't put anything you want under the dropstack, so it's gone for now. and let's not get into the fact of make have my window-based trash ONLY in the left pane. jeez.

and what about the lag seen when switching spaces??? anyone get that? pf jostles into place as if it has a hard time redrawing.

and i would love to be able to open a window at will that's in icon view while having my primary window stays all complex with every bell an whistle in effect. no....can't do that. i open a new window and BOOM! another complex window with which i must close all of the sidebars and switch to icon view. keeps me from even opening windows on the fly. has to be a really big deal for me to open a new one.

another pointless limitation seems to be the ability to have only TWO customizable panels per pane. left slide out pane......only two. why? maybe i like to put just a few icons in each to get crazy detailed. lots of dead space unless you work really hard to move things into all of the panes to get yolur screen real estate used efficiently.

why are the little path navigator color garish blue? i hate blue and use pathfinder for adjustability reasons. don't most people?

dual pane
seemingly better network drive detection
column view - empty columns now duplication color of active ones

and even tho i slammed them in this app review.....i love pathfinder. just watch it cocatach. i heard apple is working hard at a tricked out finder for its next release. don't let them catch you slippin' or half steppin' like this long awaited release. stay up!

bomb app.

forming, quite possibly into The app i ignite when managing unruly programs. i can't decide if the developer is giving my little brain too much info. ;) i know it's for a little different task, but i like it for a few different reasons.

i mean, this is the most thorough application informant i've ever seen. it tells me so much about wWhat's oOpen that i wanna shut all my programs down and regulate what they do with my junk.

i mean, shoot, stickies had like 20-30 things open and ill i had that punk doing was acting as a background.

and yeah, the processor allocation per app is what's really important performance-wise, i know. but this serves up the info that cues me into all sorts of directions.

and the developer is behind it 100%. it should be a prime competitor real soon. maybe number 2-3 on my list, which is really good.

tightening up the look/feel is big for me. i hate booty lookin apps. i want quartz in every empty box and field! probably barf, but those kinda options rule. like what homeboy did at unsanity, adding quartz to all of my gui menu drop downs! that's what the mac community seems like it would love.

download this. but listen you pair-downers. you know. you cats who have one app running and every-single bell and whistle turned off - much respect - more like performance-tweakers. i'd stay clear as all hell from this app. you're gunna get so much info about stuff you didn't know was cracked under the hood that you might miss some ZZZs at night or need to up that riddlin prescip. ignorance is bliss . ;)

gave it 4 below cuz i think there's still room for a little more tinkerability.
