After years of managing massive iTunes libraries, I tried songbird and play today. I didn't like songbird, but I am going to stick with play.

It does everything as advertised, plays all of the formats iTunes won't.

Play actually sounds better then iTunes. I didn't expect that, but there is a noticable difference.

One last thing, Play doesn't change the data of the music files at all unless you manually retag it. So for all mac bittorrenters there is no need to make a copy of the files to listen to while leaving the original to seed.

This app is still missing a lot of features that I would like, however it lacks all of the bloat features that have weighed itunes down over the years. There is no video support, no podcasts, no tv shows, no retardo multimedia store attachment. Just an audio player that works like an audio player should.

I am looking forward to future releases of this app. Cheers to the developers for this and the other handy and streamline programs they make.
