Actually this is a negative comment about MacUpdate ( which is why I've stopped giving up $20 to them each year ):

I've had version 7.5 away back when it first came out and yet MacNEVERuptodate is just telling us about version 7.5 now. What????????????

Do they not test there garbage first or are we the test dummies ?

I have used XPostFacto many years ago to trick an 8500 to think it could run OS Tiger. It did the job albeit the 8500 running OX Tiger was SSSLLLOOOWWW.

Todays problem for me is that when i click the download button on this page it comes up as an all text page. What the...????

How do i get an executable application rather then a all text page(s) ?

It's always nice to have a free update to a free app.

Not sure what the developer did when he sez "added new features for advanced users."

Would like to have a user's "preferences" choice.

Also odd this app does not appear on the developer's web site.

It certainly is a simple easy to use and does what the title sez it will.

Careful with this application. Not sure it's really needed for my 3GHz IntelCoreDuo because it fuzzed her up. Required DiskWarrior and TechToolPro to revive her.

Just ran it with the default settings no tweeking. After shut down and restart later that evening folders would not open and mouse was very erratic and the wheel of fortune refused to stop. In this condition I could not get to look at "Activity Monitor" to ascertain something or other.

Obviously not for my machine ( OS 10.8 ).

Thanks to the developer for allowing me a "free" test run.

Perhaps you may be correct.

When that problem happened I used AppDelete and EasyFind to remove any trace of the install. After applying DiskWarrior plus TToolPro all was back to normal and still is today.

So you may be correct albeit I can only make the connection to MacsFanControl since it was the very last app installed. Computers are computers and who knows for sure.

Cool!

Perhaps the developer could add MIDI files for playback.

Logging Out, Restarting, Shutting Down or Sleeping your Mac are already just a mouse-click away available from the Apple menu.

"Functional" only duplicates those actions by bringing those basic Mac OS X functions from the Apple menu to your Dock.

However some may find this collection of utilities valuable.

OK I forgot to check out CAS. Reading developers FAQ http://www.ettoresoftware.com/products/typeit4me/faq/#channels provided me interesting information from the developer for selling thru CAS and directly at his web site.

I visited this Developers web site and this application (MemoryOptimizer) is still not even listed or available for download albeit the developer noted this would be corrected.

Strange that the developer does not provide any explanation about this app. at his web site.
