An additional possible fix from

type in a terminal window:

sudo nano /System/Library/LaunchAgents/

enter your password and then change

to true

Then type the two commands

launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchAgents/

launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchAgents/

The ubd process stay alive even if the Terminal is no more running.

In case of a system reboot, a possible way would be to put the unix command

launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchAgents/

in a Applescript that is in the Applications to be launched at the startup.

It works fine with Lion 1.7.3 and above too with the fix I gave above. I checked also the reboot works fine (Lion 10.7.5). So Lion or Mountain Lion, it's the same ! By the way, no need of the application DropCloud to have the iCloud dropBox-like facility. It just helps to create the local directory in Mobile Documents, and create a link in the side bar. Nothing else !

Does not work on Lion 10.7.3 and above. The problem may be solved by launching the command

while true; do /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Ubiquity.framework/Versions/A/Support/ubd; done

in a terminal window and leave it permanently open ! Not found any other solution.

In few words, create a directory named DropCloud in ~/Library/Mobile Documents on each computer, turns on the documents management in iCloud Prefs, and that's it. So the program is extremely minimal in value. If it had fixed the Lion issue, then it would have been a real improvement. But the developper is very young, and he will certainly have time to think about the ubd process in Lion > 1.7.2 !

Very useful piece of program (backup). The equivalent of iTunesFS for iPhoto.

Excellent program for CVS use. The version 7.01_1 is not very stable (java at launch fails). Config PPC G4 (powerbook) 0S X 10.5.5

Ok a nice tool, but much less than Salling Clicker. Basically, you need to mount the disk of your device (phone) and start the sync process. SynTunes do it for phone, but also any device (Palm,...) whose disc can be mounted, fast et for free ! Why to pay for an equivalent free tool well benchmarked ! no sense. So OK I like the company who did Salling Clicker. It would be better to implement it for iPhone than doing this useless program. Sorry

This version is a disaster. All favorites have disappeared, and connections are all impossible with SSHFS (no mount, unrecognized password) ! By the way, I wrote Applescripts for SSHFS, that work fine, which confirm that this version of macfusion is TOTALLY buggy. A shame, even for an opensource program.

Excellent software, very powerful and perfectly efficient. I can synchromize the iTunes library of my wife through the home network, without annoying her, and keeping all her podcasts, playlists. A bit subtile for the installation, but, once done, works fine. Congratulation for the developper. The price is reasonable for the service.

Excellent piece of software. Very useful, efficient, and a fast response of the developper. Ideal for iPhoto library maintenance. Congratulation !

With the last release, impossible to launch the application on Powerbook G4 OS X 10.5.2:

Dyld Error Message:
Library not loaded: @executable_path/libQtCore.4.dylib
Referenced from: /Applications/Cartographie/Google Earth
Reason: Incompatible library version: Google Earth requires version 4.3.0 or later, but libQtCore.4.dylib provides version 4.1.0

Please fix the bug !

I found that MatLab 7.5 is partially responsible from the Qt problem. They use the version 4.1. I copy the 4.3 from Google Earth to the MatLab directory /bin/mac, and MatLab is running correctly, while GE is loading partially. No more warning on Qt version, but it quits suddenly anyway.
