I am really interested in this app, but after looking at the documentation, I suspect that it may be unable to do what we need it to do.

Does it keep track of multiple backup volumes that are temporarily inaccessible?

We use three current disk drives in rotation, with at least one of them always in safekeeping in a bank vault, one in production, and one possibly in transit between sites. Plus, there are several drives that have filled up and also are archived in safe storage.

So the question is, can this app display all versions of a file with date and size information and the volume ID on which they are located, so that we can determine which volume must be retrieved from the vault to restore the version that is required?

If not, is there another app that can be readily paired up with Back-in-Time to provide the functionality we need?

Originally, I was excited about Flash. It took me a very long time until I realized that many problems I was encountering, especially periods of my computer slowing down to a crawl or becoming unresponsive--sometimes for minutes--had to do with web pages that were using Flash. I often leave pages open to read them at a later time. That's not a problem when they don't have Flash, but often it is not possible to tell if they do use Flash without digging into the page source.

It felt like I had a huge computer upgrade after removing Flash.
But many web developers are using Flash for the most stupid kind of purposes, like handling logging into a website. So I sometimes have to reinstall Flash just to access some information or execute a transaction and then uninstall it again. What a pain in the neck and what a shame!

The only thing that Flash has going for itself is that it's free.
But what a price you pay in time and aggravation !!!
