I download A LOT and find myself using many video converters. This was the first time I encountered a huge .DV file (18.9GB). Adapter handled this flawlessly in under 20 minutes, giving me a good-quality MP4 of archival footage. Excellent product!

All my recent Sony downloads cut the audio due to Cinavia.

DVDFab claims to be the only software which can get rid of this STD.

Well, I still don't get it. Yes, Spotlight sucks. But any search utility SHOULD work like Google. Search function should be at least as intuitive as Mac.

Sheesh! I don't know where you guys are coming from. Mac's search ability is the OS' Achilles heel.

Even when I know the exact name, Spotlight, or these third-party alternatives, never bring it to the top of the results list.

Nope, it's not the order by filetypes. Even if one searches "exactname.jpg", Spotlight returns extraneous results. Have not "found" EasyFind to help with this.

Frankly, I'd rather have search make a guess based on probability and repeat the search until one finds the right file than slogging through 600 results and being to blind to find it!

Okay, so call me cheap. But I already purchased Boom 1.7 this year & I don't want to buy again.

I tried earlier versions of Boom with 10.6 and 10.7. Never could get it to work.

Tried Boom 1.7 with 10.9 and all it did was TURN OFF my sound, forcing me to uninstall.

Is ONLY Boom 1.8 compatible with 10.9?

O am I missing something???

Hmmm. I just installed Audio Hijack Pro because the volume on my MBP is so pitiful. See here: http://www.macyourself.com/2010/03/03/maximum-volume-still-too-quiet-make-macbook-speakers-louder/. This instructs the user to use Soundflower from inside Audio Hijack but I can't figger out how to do it. Help?

Bottom line: Will Soundflower work on 10.9 or not?

TVShows always gets the full high-five! (Hint: Witches of Eastwick!) I live in Thailand where I just can't get TV shows any other way. You guys are a marriage saver! (TV works better than any marriage counselor!)

This d/l link works: http://tvshowsapp.com/files/TVShows-630.zip. Installs flawlessly.
