Version 9 worked perfectly. Fast and stable. After a lot of testing with a few other products I choose Paragon. By the way: It works even on Mountain Lion with no problems (Version 9.0). But later published updates could annoy (9.X). The current version (10) is running smoothly again. Tested on several Macs on Mountain-Lion. Everything is fine.

This product is great. But already I fear that this project will fail.

The addon currently adds useful functions to the finder. Basic functions I will not miss anymore. But especially the newer additional functions (eg tabs) become non-reliably. The project could fail because of excessive ambitions.

Please, prefer to work on a rugged package with those basic-functions we all have missed. Instead of a development of a new product that is prone to error (and where there are already excellent products anyway - like Forklift, Pathfinder eg).

They do their job brilliantly on their territory. With your little project you can do the same, if it stays in a wise way little but s t a b l e and trustworthy. I would at least pay a reasonable price for it. Many others also. But not for an too ambitious project, that makes us Beta-Testers... ;-)

To the critics: You dont get the point? Thinkin helps.

'Basic-Functions' means to me e.g. 'Folders above', 'Cut&Paste'. It works great. But the experimental Tab-Function causes problems.

I just hope, that this brilliant simple projekt not bogged down. Thats all... I dont want to miss it anyway. ;-I

Still just great!

Particularly the upgrade to version 6 is worth the price. A lot of improvements in Tab-Functionality, Batch-Rename, Copy-Functionality etc. etc. etc.

So: Pathfinder is still the the best one. I can not understand why Apple has not yet purchased... to build a better Finder. ;-)

By the way: a recommendation for users, who need less features, is also Xtrafinder. Its a free plugin for the finder. You can configure 'folder above' etc. Just a little 'extra'.

Otherwise for advanced file management: Pathfinder.
