This app is a very interesting idea and worth to try it out, when you feel you have a need... ;-)

@ publicspace
I have version 1 and thanks to today's MU promo just learned, that version 2 is out (which I do _not_ know already).

Actually I had stopped using Vitamin-R (version1), because it missed a feature that is crucial IMHO:
I would want to define many different objectives (= tasks) IN ADVANCE _and_ while creating this simple to-do list I would want to define the needed time (or a time slice of a defined amount of minutes, that I would want to work on that very task).
Yes, I did see the "Now & Later" Board, but that is not exactly what I was looking for.

So, now I wonder whether such a simple to-do list is implemented in version 2 now? If it's not, what do you think about this idea?

Thanks in advance :)

Priority Matrix was my biggest disappointment of an app I had in a long time!
I bought via MAS not so long ago and AT FIRST, I thought Priority Matrix was a good idea. Btw, of course the quadrant approach is not really *their* idea, and there is e.g. EisenPower which has this approach as well (and which I like much more!).
When you want to buy Priority Matrix, I can only recommend you to have a VERY close look at the demo version first.

There were so many strange things in Priority Matrix that I finally gave up on it.
Just for example:
- Every time you start the app, there pops up a huge window, that wants you to start to sync.
Even I the user does NOT wish to send all his/her personal data on the developers' server, this window will *always* annoyingly come up again. There is no way to prevent it.

Also, why should I even use their server and send them all my data?! EisenPower allows you to sync via iCloud - and just if you want to.

- When „save project as PDF“ umlaut marks were broken in the PDF. Maybe umlauts make problems at other places too - I haven’t tested it out.

- I have Little Snitch (big recommendation, btw) that informs users, when apps want to do things behind your back...
@ Appfluence
Can you please tell me, why Priority Matrix (bought via MAS) wants to connect to itunes.apple.com?

@ Tumult:
Is there still no EXPORT AS VIDEO option?

If I remember correctly, last year (2012) Tumult wrote, that many users had asked for an export as video option and so I had hoped, that this feature would be available meanwhile, but I can't find it... :(
What are your thoughts/ plans about this? TIA :)

@ all:
Hype is a really versatile app !
Even if you mainly use Rapidweaver, Hype can bring some nice extras to your work!

@ ABBYY
I really miss a trial version, so I have to ask some questions:
1.
Is there something like a "learning-function" for one's own vocabulary book?
What I'm looking for is, that the words I had to look up (or the words I'm marking) will go into an extra file or so, where I can repeat those words (maybe even with the ability to hide the one language that I want to learn)?
Is a feature like that included or are you planning to do so?
OR can I at least easily copy those "difficult" words into the Mac Apps "Pages" or "Numbers" to build my own vocabulary book?

2.
In your description it says:
"Listen to pronunciation of KEY WORDS"
How many words of one language do you _exactly_ consider as "Key Words"??? I would need to hear especially the *less common* words.

Of course I could hear those words always at
www.dict.cc
which is a really great project btw - and people from all over the world are invited to improve it and record words in their native language.
But: you have to be online for that.

3. Can I only install the languages I'm interested in, to reduce the needed space on the Mac?

Thanks in advance for answering :)

Do the pop-up translations also work in a browser (like Safari / Firefox) ?

Because I do like Logoist (which I can really only warmly recommend !!!), I had a closer look at Animationist. Like others ((who have said so, when the app was featured on MuPromo)), I find some of the examples, well let's say a bit "old-fashioned"..., but the app as such is really flexible and very interesting!

@ Synium:
1. Can I be hopeful that you will include some more 'samples' to chose from into the sample library ?
2. The Clip Art collection is surprisingly nice. Just in the category "Technical" I'd wish for some more Clip Arts (like computers, monitors, iPhone, iPad, cell phones and the like :-)

It's a great start for a 1.0 version, congratulations! :D
